Adaption And Transcendence: The Study On Educators’’ Growth Rule

Educator is the product of cultural accumulation, the heritage of human civilization, and the protagonist of educational activities. The important indicator of a country’s education is the quantity and quality of educators. Today, our age is going through the great rejuvenation, in which the whole Chinese people are chasing after the Chinese Dream. The age and the society call for educators. The educational reform in reality needs educators, so does the deepened theoretical research.By applying system analysis, history analysis, literature analysis, psychology analysis and comparison analysis, three growth rules of educators are raised. These rules include the rule of adaption, the rule of transcendence and the rule of alternation. The paper is divided into Five chapters.Introduction: the reason and background of the topic are introduced:educators’ running of a school has been the theme of social development. The research on educators’ growth rule is selected as the object of study. How to figure out the rule of educators’ growth in essence is a brand new research topic. Most domestic and overseas achievements about educators focus on the research on educators’ connotation, type, standard, environmental and subjective factors, while researches on educators’growth rule are scattered and unsystematic. So, educators’ growth rule is selected as the research topic.Chapter One discusses man and man’s growth rule. By analyzing what a man is, the internal connection and difference among rule, growth rule and educators’ growth rule are revealed. The duality of man’s natural and social attributes decides the adaptation and transcendence of man’s growth. The man’s growth rule is of objective existence, which essentially is the rule of transcendence and the rule of transcendence.Chapter Two discuss educators’ growth rule of adaption. From the angle of adaption’s connotation, characteristic and form, elements of educators’growth’s self-adaption and social adaption are analyzed. The paper analyzes elements which support the social adaption of educators’ growth, including group dynamics, social needs, inheritance, culture and probability. In addition, the self-adaption of educators’growth is analyzed from angles of pre-axis age, axis age and post-axis age.Chapter Three discuss educators’ growth rule of transcendence. From the angle of transcendence’s connotation, characteristic and form, the growth rule of transcendence is analyzed. The paper also analyzes elements which support the external transcendence of educators’growth, including creativity, peer coaching and collective efficiency. What’s more, elements which support the inherent transcendence of educators’growth are analyzed, including belief and psychological behavior.Chapter Four discusses educators’growth rule of alternation between adaption and transcendence. From the analysis of the rule of alternation between adaption and transcendence, the supporting mechanism which supports it is analyzed, including the alternation mechanism of internal and external causes, the alternation mechanism between subjectivity and objectiveness, the alternation mechanism between practice and proposition, the alternation mechanism between individual and the collective, and the alternation mechanism between the whole and partial current situations.The paper holds that the alternation mechanism of internal and external causes in educators’growth is the comprehensive interactive result of internal and external causes, rather than either of them two. With the rule, growth patterns of educators are revealed: one is the pattern in which the external cause has a special effect, the other is the pattern in which the internal cause has a special effect.From the angle of full play of self-initiative, the paper analyzes educators’social responsibility during both the social turmoil and peace time. The paper holds that educators’ growth is the unification of self-development and social responsibility in which the individual and society coexist harmoniously. It is also called the interaction between individual and the collective. The alternation mechanism between individual and the collective has several growth patterns in realistic education ecology: one is the "heroic" pattern, one is the "cooperative" pattern, and one is the "mission" pattern.The paper analyses the timing rule from the aspects of both the whole and partial current situations. Under the certain social background, the interaction between social needs and social condition decides the number, structure and level of educators. In fact, with the rule, two deduction paths of educators are concluded: one is the pattern which is decided by social needs, the other is the pattern which is decided by social condition.After study, the paper concludes the system of educators’growth rule called "Three Rules and Nine Elements". "Three Rules" refer to educators’ growth rule of adaption, educators’ growth rule of transcendence, and educators’growth rule of alternation between adaption and transcendence. "Nine Elements" refer to element of self-adaption, element of social adaption, element of comprehensive adaption, element of external transcendence, element of internal transcendence, element of integral transcendence, element of alternation between internal and external causes, element of alternation between individual and the collective, and element of alternation between the whole and partial current situations.Chapter Five discusses educators’ historic opportunity: Chinese ethnic peoples are facing a rare developing opportunity with the coming of the third industrial revolution and educational revolutions. The age longs more for educators and the emergence of educator groups. Some constructive suggestions are proposed from the angel of educators’growth rule. One is to stimulate and design internal and external factors from the aspects of policy support, law support, financial support, encouragement, non-governmental forces and public opinions. One is to stimulate and construct subjectivity and objectiveness from the aspects of inheriting traditional culture, awakening educator spirits, encouraging original knowledge, constructing discourse system, promoting de-administration, emphasizing folk running strength, developing private schools and balancing "localization" and "internationalization". One is to deal with the relationship between individual and the collective in educators’growth from aspects of emphasizing "academic lead", constructing learning organization and stressing the lead and cooperation of internal "informal organization". The last one is to maintain the harmonious development between educators’self-development and social responsibility from the aspects of underlining the formation of academic leader and school, the cultivation of personality and academic accomplishment. We are looking forward to the birth and emergence of Chinese educator groups in the new era.
