Yunnan province is located in the southwest border of the motherland, and bordering on Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, land border about4061kilometers long,16ethnic minorities in the border line, and those belonging to ethnic nationalities in the vast majority of straight over the nation, namely by the end of primitive society, slave society of feudal society and early transition to direct national socialist society, or belong to the smallest ethnic nationality, namely ethnic groups with small populations, the vast majority of these peoples are in overall poverty and closed state. With globalization and urbanization, especially with the implementation of the western development,gradually open to the public,trade and movement of people become frequently. Combined with the introduction of modern school education which on behalf of the state, making the existing border ethnic minorities’ traditional culture, values, lifestyles, behavior by a certain of impacts and challenges, a new crisis triggered border ethnic areas. The local ethnic education plays an irreplaceable role in maintain the stability and harmony of the local community. In view of this, this study attempts to from the angle of non-traditional security, cultural philosophy, politics, culture and education anthropology for reference, field investigation and combing to the present situation of the border ethnic groups and school education situation, showing the border of national education the real crisis facing and exploring the feasibility of a road border national education development. This not only can expand the border ethnic education theory research field of vision, rich border ethnic education research, providing theoretical perspectives and new ways of thinking to the border of national education research. And for speeding up the reform and development in the border areas of national education, maintaining national stability and national unity border, has a realistic value and significance.This study consists of Six parts, the first part is the introduction, this part mainly relates to the background of selected topic, namely the origin of the research question, the purpose of this study and meaning, and carding existing research literature, dialysis, summarize and comment on the basis of this study involves the paper expounds a few core concepts and qualified, and narrates the the basis of the study area in this study and the research method and technical route using objective criteria.The second part is the research area of the ethnography investigation, specific content from the study area of ecological environment, history, national population distribution, life cycle, the types of local social economy, the industrial structure type, the diversity of life custom, and local ethnic education basic condition and the property characteristics of education, roughly summary for the overview of border areas.The third part is mainly from the perspective of quantitative research, according to the theoretical derivation, combining the extensive interviews, compiled the questionnaire,from the level of data analysis refining the border problems in development of national education, namely national security concerns, the reflection of cultural security and educational security.The fourth part on the basis of the in-depth interviews,to further explain the developmental dilemma of education in the border areas of Yunnan Nationalities facing many factors. The specific content for the special ecological humanistic environment in national regions along the border,lead to the phenomenon of "Sexy, gambling and drug", together with the border of the same ethnic group and the current situation of "stateless" groups led to a crisis of identity of local ethnic minorities, exacerbated by lack of local educational culture, and analysis of national security risks. In the era of globalization and information technology,along with the flow and personnel exchanges between the open border,the borders’ values, lifestyles, habits, etc. will be affected,such as borders emphasis on the pursuit of economic interests too much. Especially with the continued penetration of mainstream culture, traditional folk culture of ethnic border areas are constantly being marginalized, making multicultural ethnic groups facing extinction or gradual convergence,faced the crisis of loss. And with the intervention of modern schooling,the school education and the actual needs of borders appears not appropriate, the local school education gradually lose the interaction between the ethnic communities and the family,formed the tendency of islanding, and the consequent education security crisis.The fifth part is based on the reality of the many special problems and difficulties facing the border region analysis, from a theoretical point of view put forward thinking ideas and feasibility of the path of national education development in border areas.In order to ensure the development of national education of the border region,but also to promote the development of local economy and maintain social stability and national unity in the border areas.The sixth part is the conclusion, mainly for the innovation of this study and the deficiencies, and the direction of further research.
