In the era of knowledge economy, the core drive of social development is the innovative talents. The cultivation of innovative talents relies on high quality innovation education. However the innovative practical education, as an important part of innovation education is weak point. Taking the innovative practical education as a complete education system, developing a deep analysis on the key influencing factors and its mechanism of the quality of innovative practical education is crucial for deepening the educational reform and improving the quality of innovative talents training. This research plays a certain guiding role for innovative practical education in the universities.Applying empirical method, this study carries out an research on the quality of innovative practical education in universities from the view of systematic theory. Through the analysis on present situation of the innovative practical education and theoretical literature, applying social learning theory and rooting theory, combining in-depth interviews with experts, the research identifies and distinguishingly extracts seven key influencing factors of the quality of innovative practical education, namely students’creative motivation, students’ innovative quality, teachers’ quality, teaching content, teaching methods, physical environment of innovative practical education and culture environment of innovative practical education. Meanwhile this paper explores the factor-influencing mechanism of innovative practical educational quality:firstly establishes concept model, from the two aspects of the depth and width in the impact of innovative practical educational quality, this study presents fourteen hypotheses; Then follows a normative empirical study which designs the questionnaire about measurement variables of key affecting factors. In180universities we handed out questionnaires, and obtained163valid questionnaire responses. Furthermore the research uses exploratory factor analysis to check reliability of questionnaires, ensuring the internal consistency of scale data, using structural equation model, SPSS19.0and AMOS17.0to verify the path relationship between the influencing factors and educational quality, and to test corresponding hypotheses. Finally based on the above researching results some countermeasures and suggestions about improving the educational quality of the innovative practice in universities are present.Main researches and innovative works are summarized as follows:(1) Identifying and extracting the key influencing factors on the quality of innovative practical education in universities, and demonstrating each factor.(2) Establishing the conceptual model and research hypothesis of quality of innovative practical education. The paper analyzes the factors-influencing mechanism which illustrates these seven key factors how to has effect on innovation practice of university education quality from two aspects of the depth and width. Based on influencing relationship, this study constructs the theoretical model, and proposes the corresponding hypothesis.(3) Empirically testing the path relationship between the innovative practical education and the key factors. The results shows that the students’ innovative quality has more impact on innovative practical education quality than innovative motivation; Teaching content has more impact on depth of innovative practical education quality than the quality of teachers and teaching method; Teaching methods has more impact on the width of innovative practical education quality than teachers’quality, teaching content. Material environment of innovative practical education has more impact on innovative practical education quality than cultural environment.(4) According to the empirical results, presenting effective suggestions to improve the quality of innovative practical education in universities. From construction of innovative practical educational system, training of practical ability of students, improvement for teachers’innovative practical education capability and environment construction in the innovative practical education, this paper provides some decision supports for further improvement in the quality of innovative practice of high education.
