The population structure is closely connected with consumption, the change ofpopulation structure must ultimately affect the urban family tourism consumptionthrough the mediating variables. Population structure is divided into natural structure,regional structure and social structure. The influence of population natural structurechange on urban family tourism consumption is multi-level, multi-dimension. The papertakes Jilin Province as an example, explores systematically natural population structurefactors that affect urban family tourism consumption, should have importantsignificance both in the theory and reality. This can not only let us totally understand theaffect of aging population and sex ratio on urban family tourism consumption in JilinProvince, but also understand the tourism industry how to deal with the agingpopulation and meet the needs of different sex“differences” of demand, promotewin-win development of tourism market and population in Jilin Province, and then leadJilin Province to adjust the economic structure, to transform the economy growth.Through summarizing the domestic and foreign literature, I found that moreliteratures research the influence which population structure affects on economicdevelopment, many scholars think that labor market effect, human capital investmenteffect and savings rate effect caused by the change of population structure will havedirect or indirect impact on economic growth. But domestic scholars’ researches that thenatural population change affects urban family tourism consumption are still relativelyinsufficient, especially the relative literatures from empirical perspective deeplyresearch are still lacking. Based on the reference of domestic and foreign literatures, thepaper focus on the influence of the natural population change affect on the urban familytourism consumption, with the survey data of Changchun City and Jilin City in JilinProvince, the paper draws a conclusion of the research. Specifically, the full paper isdivided into six parts, contents are as follows:The first part is an introduction. This part mainly introduces the background andsignificance of the research, domestic and foreign literature review, research content,research methods, innovations and shortcomings and so on. The second part is basic theory and problem raised. Human is the subject ofconsumption, population natural structure change has a high degree of positivecorrelation with urban family tourism consumption, this can not only affect urbanfamily tourism consumption structure, but also tourism consumption level. Based on theclassification of population structure, the paper analyzed the meaning and influencefactors of urban family consumption, from the logical relationship, the population agestructure determines urban family tourism structure.The third part is the situation of the population natural structure change and urbanfamily tourism consumption in Jilin Province. Starting from the perspective of thechange of natural population structure, summarized the overall situation and thecharacteristics of urban family tourism consumption in Jilin Province, analyzed in detailthe different characteristics of tourism consumption in deferent types of urban family,and made a general discussion on the impact of population age structure and populationsex structure on urban family tourism consumption.The fourth part is the impact of population aging on urban family tourismconsumption. This part starting from the physiological and psychological characteristicsof elder population, analyzed the characteristics and tendency of tourism consumptionof elder population. Taking Jilin Province as a sample, combined with the data ofquestionnaire survey, analyzed the situation, characteristics, tendency and consequencesof the population aging variation in Jilin Province, discussed in detail the impact ofpopulation aging on urban family tourism consumption.The fifth part is the influence of the population sex ratio on urban family tourismconsumption. This part starting from the relationship between gender and tourism,expounded the sex“differentiation” in the process of tourism consumption. Ondescribing the change of sex ratio and the consequence, discussed in detail genderdifferences of urban family tourism consumption in Jilin Province.The sixth part is the thinking of the impact of population natural structure changeon urban family tourism consumption. This part starting from supply and demand ofurban family tourism consumption, taking natural population structure change of JilinProvince as perspective, puts forward relevant policy suggestions on how to realize thepopulation aging, sex ratio balance and tourism industry synchronous development inJilin Province.
