The change plays a key role of promote the development of modern agriculture. Therefore, it is important significance of the research of fostering professional farmer in the development of modern agriculture.Firstly, the paper defined professional farmers" cultivation concept and researched theory of career farmers" cultivation. These theories included of human capital theory, specialized division of labour theory, marxist theory on human overall development, etc.Secondly, the paper analyzed mechanism of the cultivation of professional farmers promoting modern agricultural development. The author suggested that traditional peasants can not meet the development needs of modern agriculture, agriculture must cultivate professional farmers. It researched the general relationship between education, human capital and economic growth in agriculture, and discussed interaction mechanism between professional farmers cultivation with modern agriculture, specifically including of interactive mechanism of professional farmers and labor efficiency, interactive mechanism of professional farmers and rural physical capital accumulation, interactive mechanism of professional farmers and agricultural technological progress. The paper made Granger causality test between human capital investment (education) with the development of modern agriculture.
