In recent years, core stability has become the buzzword in the conditioning and rehabilitation programs of athletic training. So the first purpose of this study is core stability theory researching, and combining this foundation with beach volleyball practice;this study examined the relationship between core stability and maximal spiking velocity in elite beach volleyball players;the relationship between core stability and lower extremity functional movement in elite beach volleyball players; the relationship between core stability and height, weight & BMI in elite beach volleyball players;the difference between core stability of male and female beach volleyball players. The conclusions are1,Core stability is to provide dynamic postural control during functional movements.Core muscles activation may play a important role in functional Kinetic Chain Core stability is seen as being pivotal for efficient biomechanical function to maximize force generation and minimize joint loads in all types of activities. It allows optimum production, transfer and control of force and motion to the terminal segment in integrated athletic activities.Essentially,a properly functioning core provides for optimal efficiency of movement and rehabilitation.2,Core stability is a dynamic concept that continually changes to meet postural adjustments or external loads accepted by the body.Core stability training should target functional training and follow a safe, systematic, progressive, and functional approach.Core stabilization training should lead to a strong, stable core that will maintain normal length-tension relationships of functional agonists and antagonists. Unlike traditional resistant exercise, core stability training focuses on functional strength, dynamic stability and optimal neural adjustment.Any evaluation technique will need to take into consideration that the muscles to be tested should be tested in functional positions or movement when possible. All three-plane core testing and special core muscle testing should be included in core stability assessment. So there is no consensus regarding the most reliable or reproducible evaluation system. We must make assessing test in correlation with special need.3,When comparing rotational core muscle power to maximal spiking velocity of elite beach volleyball players,a strong positive correlation existed.Just a few of relationship between anterior core muscle endurance and maximal spiking velocity existed. No relationship between lateral core muscle capacity and maximal spiking velocity existed. So the conditioning programs of beach volleyball should pay more attention on the development of rotational core muscle power.4,The lower extremity functional movement of elite beach volleyball players was correlated with core stability.A strong correlation existed between rotational core muscle power and T-test on the sand.A middle correlation existed between anterior core muscle endurance and T-test on the sand. Also a middle correlation existed between lateral core muscle capacity and T-test on the sand. The core stability training should be integrated into beach volleyball training.5,No relationship between height, weight & BMI and core stability.6,The male players of beach volleyball were found to exhibit higher on the rotational core muscle power than the females. No significant differences were identified for the anterior core muscle endurance and the lateral core muscle capacity among the male and female player.
