Functional training originated in the fields of medical rehabilitation and physiotherapy.Its training aims to integrate and optimize the basic physical ability of the body,so as to achieve the purpose of correcting movement patterns,improving spinal strength,optimizing the kinetic chain,and accelerating the recovery and regeneration of body functions.For the improvement of special sports ability.This training method has less practical basis in the training of physical examination candidates in my country.The content of the Hubei Provincial Sports College Entrance Examination is a track and field project that focuses on lower limb exercise,and its movement mode is mainly related to the flexibility and stability of the lower limb hip,knee and ankle joints.,Good lower limb stability is an important guarantee for physical candidates to train efficiently.Aiming at the phenomenon that the lower limb injury rate is relatively high during the training of physical examination candidates,the author tried to reasonably add functional training content to the physical examination training of Changhong Middle School in Wuhan,in order to explore new ideas for the diversification of training methods for physical examination candidates.The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of functional training on the stability of the lower limbs of physical examination candidates in Hubei Province,mainly using experimental methods,field investigation methods,mathematical statistics and other methods to conduct research and analysis,and determine the lower limb stability test index as the core strength index and Functional Movement Screening(hereinafter referred to as FMS)index,the subjects of this experiment were 30 male physical examination candidates from Changhong Middle School in Wuhan,who were randomly divided into experimental group(n1=15)and control group(n2=15)according to the test level of core strength index),the experimental intervention training period was 12 weeks.The experimental group carried out targeted functional training according to the weak links of the body screened by FMS,and the control group carried out traditional strength training.After the experiment,the lower limb stability index test scores of the two groups were collected.Through the analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Functional training has an impact on the improvement of the stability of the lower limbs of physical candidates,and has a promoting effect.(2)Functional training can improve body asymmetry,flexibility,stability of joints,and neuro-muscular control,optimize the posture of physical examinees,and improve the economy of special movements.(3)Functional training can not only be used to develop the stability of the lower extremities of physical candidates,but also promote the improvement of the results of the Hubei Provincial Sports College Entrance Examination.
