| In recent years, the expenditure of public service has been growing fast in China. It makes the service level of people improve in fields such as education, social security, which ensures the people’s living standard to increase greatly. But the huge public service cost brings the public finance enormous pressure, and the highly centralized management system has produced many disadvantages. These drawbacks not only led to waste of the public finance resources, but also lowered the efficiency of the supply of public service. Besides, it makes the people’s demand of public service difficult to satisfy. In this case, the reform of the supply system of public service is imperative. The purpose of this study is to analyze the situation of the excessive spending in public service and its harmfulness, and to find the approaches of the supply system reform of China’s public service.This article uses both the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, from the basic principle of public finance, to analyze the present situation and its roots, and to demonstrate the harmfulness to economic and social development. On this basis, this article explores the possible methods of the reform. |
