For a long time, the problem of urban and rural integrated development has been a key issue to determine China’s modernization process and fully building a well-off society, while the farmland system is the core. As a comprehensive complete reform pilot area of urban and rural integration, Chengdu has launched a new round of reform of rural property rights system with the core of "Enabling Some Additional Rights". It has gotten significant gradual achievements through establishment of the first national rural equity market and a series of other practical innovation around the land contract rights. But analyzing from the actual research, the circulation platform of farmland property rights and the circulation system are still imperfect, and there is still a gap between the reform effect and the expected. On the basis of substantial researches, in use of a series of methods such as combination of literature review and field research, combination of normative analysis and positive analysis, dynamic analysis, typical case study and so on, this paper studies the circulation platform and mechanism construction of farmland property in Chengdu in depth and systematically. The content is divided into four parts:the first is the theoretical basis and the analytic framework. On the basis of defining the scope of this study, it bings out the theoretical analysis framework, and reveals the requirements and revelation of urban and rural integrated development on farmland reform in use of a dual structure theory. The second part is the practice and enlightenment of domestic and international farmland property rights trading system reform. Here, it not only examines the circulation modes of farmland property rights and the realization forms of paths under different backgrounds of land systems and natural resources, but also analyzes several typical domestic reform practices. The third part is the relevant empirical analysis, including the idea of the circulation platform and mechanism construction of farmland in the context of urban and rural integration, the game analysis on farmers’ revenue in different circulation platforms, the construction practice of farmland circulation platform and mechanism in Chengdu, the main influencing factors for farmers to choose the regular circulation platform, the comparison of economic performance and social performance on different circulation platforms, and the classic case analysis of farmland property circulation reform in process of urban and rural integration. In the final part, it points out conclusions of this study and suggestions to improve circulation platform and mechanism in Chengdu, as well as the further research..Specific research is divided into eight chapters, namely Introduction, Literature Review and Theoretical Analysis Framework, International Experience, Domestic Practice and Enlightenment, Idea of Farmland property rights Circulation Platform and Mechanism Construction in Process of Urban and Rural Integration, Game Analysis of Farmers’ Revenue on Different Circulation Platforms, Chengdu Practice of Farmland property rights Circulation Platform and Mechanism Construction, Analysis of Farmers’ Behavioral Characteristics and Influencing Factors in Selection of Farmland Transfer Approach, Performance Analysis of Farmland Property Rights Transfer on Different Circulation Platforms, Research Conclusion and Outlook.Through the study of each part referred above, this paper draws out conclusions as below:(1) To improve the farmland property rights circulation platform and mechanism needs not only to follow the basic theory framework of dual social structure, but also to be based on the special background of formation and evolution of Chinese dual social structure.(2) Building of formal circulation platform is able to break the monopoly of the private circulation platform..Through service principle of zero profit, it can help farmers who choose formal circulation platform win a higher effectiveness on the one hand, and force private circulation platform to set higher circulation prices on the other hand, which also leads to significantly effectiveness improvement for farmers who select informal circulation platform.(3) There are many factors that affect farmers’ selection of farmland circulation platform, such as the impact of policy incentives, the economic development and the family endowments, the circulation platform function and running condition, as well as farmers’ cognitive status of this issue.(4) The economic performance and social performance of different farmland transfer modes in different circulation platforms have different characteristics:farmland transfer on the formal circulation platform is better than on informal circulation platform both on economic performance and social performance;circulation modes with higher-degree marketization is superior to the modes with lower marketization; the village-cadres-led farmland circulation has good economic performance but unideal social performance;(5) By summarizing up the grass-roots experiences, to fully respect and take good advantage of the folk institutional innovation is the basic experience to improve the farmland property rights circulation platform and mechanism.Innovation in this study may have three points:First, it selects a new perspective and proposition. From the perspective of farmers’ selection of the farmland circulation platform, it analyzes how to improve the farmland property rights circulation platforms and mechanisms;second, on the basis of theoretical studies especially the theory of modern property rights, it suggests an analytic framework of "land property rights policy-farmland transfer mode"; third, it divides various farmland circulation platforms into two categories, following this idea, a non-cooperative game model of farmers’ revenue on different circulation platforms is constructed. In analysis of influencing factors of farmers’ selection among different circulation platforms, it compares the economic performance and social performance on different farmland circulation platforms. The inadequacies of this paper is that:First, it pays too much attention to the construction of the formal circulation platform and fails in necessary study on guid and regulation of non-formal circulation platform construction; second, it only analyzes in respect of farmland but does not involve the correlative study on promoting circulation between farmland and rural collective construction land and homestead.
