Private enterprise is an important force of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Private enterprises play an important role in the contribution to economic development, financial taxes, increase employment and social responsibility. However, because of many factors, the development of private enterprises encounter a bottleneck; at the same time, with the deepening of globalization and aggressive posture of transnational corporations, private enterprise is bound to pose new challenges. How private enterprise gets a better development in a period of today and future, strategic leaders of private enterprise have inescapable obligations and responsibilities. This paper analyses strategic leadership from the view of private enterprise to make private enterprises increase their core competitiveness and become bigger and stronger. This is a new topic.Thesis is guided by dialectical and historical materialism, the author give a more systematic study and analysis on three decades of the development of private enterprises and the general sense of the historical process of a single private enterprise from the view of life cycle. The Paper consists of seven parts, each part of the main contents are as follows:Chapter preface reviews the trait theory of leadership, leadership contingency theory, transformational leadership theory, values-based leadership, LMX theory and PG theory, and gives a systematic combing on relevant life-cycle theory and game theory. The paper also defines the concept of strategic, leadership, strategic leadership, enterprise strategic leadership and private enterprise strategic leadership. Section III of this chapter mainly reviews strategic leadership at home and abroad in the research literature. The author Concludes:theory and method are relatively lagging behind on domestic corporate leadership research, which led directly to the pale and weak of the research on strategic leadership; international academic research on strategic leadership concepts remain in infancy, such as the initial formulation of the theory research strategic leadership from strategic management, a preliminary cross-disciplinary research on strategic leadership, case analysis, and so on. The second chapter is the study of articles and research methods. Private enterprise strategic leadership in China is as an object of the study, and the paper describes the dynastic history, case studies, interviews, questionnaire, logical and historical unity of the methods and systems and other research methods. Section II illustrates the significance from perspectives of interdisciplinary research, discipline construction significance and practical point of the study.The third chapter,"History of Chinese private enterprises and private enterprises strategic leadership" analyses private enterprises in the Chinese history of three decades from a policy point of view of the legal regulation, dividing the development of private enterprises since the reform and opening up into three parts, that is embryonic period (1978-1988), initial period (1988-1998), stable period (1998-present), and the article observes the development of private enterprise strategic leadership with the case of Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. At the end of this chapter, this thesis divides private enterprise into the "Grass business" phase with the sprits of do the first in the world and "four thousand", the spirit of "Confucian business" phase with scientific management and teamwork as well as "Philosophy business" stage with philosophy and the philosophy of mind altruism.Chapter IV is "corporate life cycle and private enterprises Strategic Leadership". First of all, private enterprise life cycle is divided into four cycles and the writer proposes strategic leadership in four cycles of private enterprises:the personal courage at the starting stage, team cooperation at the growth stage, scientific management at the stable stage, innovation and transcending at the metamorphosis stage. Then, the paper analyses private enterprise strategic leadership with the cases of Fosun International, Shanshan Investment Holding Co., Ltd and Delixi Group of Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. The article argues that this is the personal practice, teamwork, integration and its elaboration of strategic leaders.The fifth chapter is "Contemporary Chinese private enterprises logical structure of strategic leadership", the article analyzes the development of the necessary conditions for private enterprises:courageã€determination and courage, market awareness and knowledge, Capital and economic strength, personal connections with the team, political influence and social influence, based on which the author proposes "five-dimensional theory", that is, vision, power, integration, execution, organization innovation and sustainability, the paper then describes the "five-dimensional theory" which must complete five strategic tasks in order to achieve "five sons Corrections": guts, brain, cashnotes, circle, position.Chapter VI,"the promotion of Chinese private enterprises strategic leadership" analyses the bottleneck in the development of private enterprises which is the systematic obstacles and the lack of ability to respond to the challenges of multinational enterprises, and illustrates the practical significance in the development of private enterprise, local development and national strategies through enhancing the strategic leadership of the private enterprises. This chapter focuses on the analysis of the path of the private enterprises strategic leadership:the overall path is historical realm, scientific realm, artistic realm and philosophical realm, and analyses theoretical path of the improvement on LMX theory and the theory of PG from the perspective of game theory, in addition,some creative plan of leadership education.The author argues that solving avoided problems can enhance private enterprise strategic leadership which has special significance.The last part,"Summary and Outlook" summarizes the paper from the perspective of theoretical integration, research innovation and practice exploration and has expected path of outlook of the future development of private enterprise development. |
