This paper will placed the aesthetic meaning of Chinese traditional glaze into a larger cultural context to study. The study material symbols and spiritual connotation of glaze has become a new way of understanding the traditional ceramic culture. In this paper, I hope this research target will explore the characteristics and way to porcelain "glaze" cultural perception of traditional society, and in this way is how to set up and improved, and also points out the effect of culture perception on the development of porcelain " glaze " technology.According to the way of porcelain "glaze" perception, this paper can be divided into three aspects of research. They are associated with glaze physical symbol system, glaze to create a visual schema and glaze cultural concept and nomenclature.In second chapter and the sixth chapter is the material symbol system associated with the " glaze ", the second chapter discusses the Close the symbolic relationship between glaze and folk religion, the sixth chapter is constructed from the glaze system angle create mechanism and glaze chromatography system to study the color glaze porcelain of Ming and Qing dynasties. The third chapter and the fourth chapter launch the research around the glaze to create a visual schema. In the third chapter,""glaze coat" and " glaze appearance " represent the the two pattern logic follow in the ceramic utensil decoration, while the fourth chapter describes the attention on the glaze material body, and to their use for how the traditional glaze injected more abundant spirit connotation. The first chapter and the fifth chapter discusses the concept of culture and glaze of its aesthetic imagination in naming.
