Eco-socialism has become a worldwide trend and movement since the1970s, the production and development of it has caused from the response in sports and theory to ecology issues and Utopia desire deep in man’s heart.Though combined ecology movement and socialism, eco-socialism analyzed the causes of ecological issues, and eventually pointed out that capitalism is the root reason. In one hand, it reached for an effective way to against the system of capitalism, and on the other hand, it tried to make the criticism further. After1990’s, worldwide ecological movement became into the patch, eco-socialism theory gradually turns to historical materialism method, and deducted the ecology crisis to the system crisis and social crisis in capitalist conditions. Thus, it contacted all sorts of crisis is this contemporary human faced, and trying to change the capitalist system, establish the social justice eco-socialism society to solve the ecological crisis, which realizes the person and the natural double liberation.As a social movement and theoretical trends, Eco-socialism produced from complex social and theoretical background, this paper attempts to analyze the movement and theory of it to clarify the logic from Alienated labor to ecological crisis, the justice ways in against capitalism, and ideas of eco-socialism. And provide theoretical reference for the construction of ecological civilization through the analyze to the frustrations of the eco-socialist movement in last century, and the limitations inherent of eco-socialism.Although, as a political movement and theoretical thoughts, eco-socialism has its own limitations, but it is also widened the perspective of historical materialism in the viewpoint of ecology, and it puts forward, a new justice and social system has been contained in the bud of the crisis we face now, show a strong utopia impulsive, just is the spirit, writes the history of human beings as a history of criticism, struggle, transcend, and perfecting of morality.
