One inevitable choice for modern hospital to improve service quality and management level is taking team as the unit of structure reconstruction and operation management. A common topic for all hospital managers is how to realize the scientific identification, accurate evaluation and effective improvement of the hospital knowledge team performance. This study based on WSR system methodology researches in depth hospital knowledge team performance and its structure, performance evaluation method and performance improvement mechanism. The research results have important theoretical and practical value, which will be beneficial to rich team performance theory system, enlarge the range of WSR methodology application and enhance the scientific level of team performance evaluation and hospital management.This study summarizes and analyzes some concepts, theories and methods that relate to team, team performance and WSR methodology at first, which provides a theoretical platform for research work. Then, hospital knowledge team is defined and its working mechanism is analyzed in detail, so the logic starting point of the research gets clear. On this basis, there are mainly four research activities as follow:firstly, the hospital knowledge team performance is conducted a comprehensive analysis by introducing stakeholder theory and the hospital knowledge team performance process WSR-IPO model is established. Secondly, the author puts forward a influencing factors WSR model that act on knowledge team performance and a3d performance structure model. Because of hospital knowledge team performance structure being the core of this study, both normative analysis and empirical test are conducted on the team performance structure theory model. Through factors important degree analysis, exploratory analysis and confirmatory analysis, a hospital knowledge team6d performance structure model is revised and verified. Thirdly, using rough set attribute reduction and importance analysis, team performance evaluation index system is optimized and the index weighting is ascertained, then a case of team performance evaluation process is launched. Above content is important for this research. Fourth, the hospital knowledge team performance improvement framework is established by applying WSR methodology, which proposes hospital knowledge team performance promotion system framework and implementation path such as to improve the physical environment and strengthen "Shi-Li" and "Ren-Li" factors management, etc.The innovation of this research are mainly embodied in the following three aspects:(1) The concept of knowledge team is creatively brought forward in the field of hospital management that provides a new vision and new methods for hospital organizations to introduce and implement knowledge team management.(2) The connotation and denotation of hospital knowledge team performance are clarified, and the hospital knowledge team6d performance structure model is put forward and verified. It is a fruit of cross-cultural, cross organization reconstruction and inspection in view of the team performance three dimensional structure proposed by western scholars. And it is one of the most advanced research findings on team performance structure. The hospital knowledge team performance evaluation index system established on six dimensional structure model can provide beneficial reference for hospital organizations to innovate their performance management institution and practice.(3) The hospital knowledge team performance influence factor model, the performance evaluation process model and the performance improvement theoretical framework are proposed on base of WSR system methodology, as well as relate case study is conducted. This not only is to enrich and develop the WSR methodology, but is a beneficial attempt to enhance the scientific level of hospital management.
