The assignment is a process of teaching and if you make good use of it you can improve the teaching effect.The school,teachers,parents and students are concerned more about assignments very much.Eeducational researchers pay more attention to the teaching effect research,but there is less research on whether the assignment is effective or not.Because mathematical subject knowledge is very abstract,mathematicl teaching pays more attention to students' assignments' training.It takes up large amount of time and energy,but the practical effect is not ideal.The mathematical effective assignment problem is very prominent and typical.Based on the author's mathematical teaching experience,the thsis research the sffectivness of mathematical assignment.The theme of the thesis is the effectiveness of mathematical assignment in senior middle school.The outline follows:Chapter one is introduction.It summarizes the background of assignment research,the review and reflects of researches related to assignment at home and abroad,the aim,the significance,the outline and the thinking of the thesis.Chapter two is analyzing the basic theory related to the effectiveness of mathematical assignments in senior middle school.Firstly,it shows different views of assignments in different subjects,such as psychology,education and maths.Secondly,it presents the historical development of assignments and the significance of modern assignments.The connotation of assignment is defined in the thesis.The assignment refers to class assignments and homework.The effective assignment means value,effect and efficiency.The value is the precondition of effect and efficiency;the effect is the manifestation of value and efficiency;the efficiency is the measure of value and effect.Thirdly,it narrates that the effectiveness is the key of assignment.The effectiveness of assignment should be shown in promoting the math learning,training the math skill,developing the math logic,improving the ability of solving problems and cultivating good habits and attitude.Finally,the framework of effective assignment is put up with,which is made up of design,arrangement,finish,correct,evaluation and feedback.It discusses the idea and requirement of carrying out effective assignment as well.Chapter three is the investigation and analysis of the effectiveness of mathematical assignment in senior middle school.Through questionnaire,interview,and observation,it researches the effectiveness of assignment.The result of investigation is:the problem of designing and arranging assignments,such as repetition,large amount,less level and sameness;the problem of complement,such as bad:habits,imitating and copy;the correct and evaluation is prone to control;the feedback is too shallow.In a word,there are two factors influencing tbe effectiveness of mathematical assignment in senior middle school:the first is intrinsic fectors,including students,tearchers and schools;the second is extrinsic factors,including society,parents and policy.Chapter four is the strategy of improving the effectiveness of mathematical assignment in senior middle school.Based on investigation,the fllowing three quesionts would be answerd.At first,how to design and give mathematical assignments effectively?Then,How to guide students to finish mathematical assignment effecticely?Finally,how to correct,evalualte and give feedback to students9 mathematical assignment effecticelyt?The thesis looks ahead the trend of promoting the effectiveness of mathematical assignment in senior middle school at the end.
