Studies On Cultural Cultivation Of People In Colleges And Universities

With the strategy of developing a strong socialist culture,developing socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,training the personnel with core socialist values are the necessary requirements for improving comprehensive national strength and also the historical mission for the higher education in China.Higher education is the important carrier of splendid cultural heritage and also the important source of the ideological and cultural innovation.So,we should play the active role of cultural cultivation of people.In2016,Xi Jinping made the speech on the ideology and politics work conference of the national universities,he emphasized,“ the universities' foundation of existence lies in strengthening morality and bring up people,which we should considered as the central process.The ideology and politics work should be run through the whole teaching and education.And we should lay emphasis on ‘culture influences people and culture educates people'”.Therefore,cultural education,considered as a method of ideology and politics education,is necessary for the personnel training of universities.This paper includes the following five aspects:1.Cultural connotation,nature,the function of cultural cultivation of people as well as the connotation and aims of cultural cultivation of people are stated.In this paper,it states that culture is provided with essential attributes,such as subjectivity and practice.The basic function of culture is shaping or civilizing people.The realizing process of which is people educated with culture.The educational function of culture is the reflection of cultural ideology,which is possessed with the function of ideology and politics education.The connotation of cultural cultivation of people is not single,which has three different meanings,first,it can cultivate people with socialist advanced culture,second,it can cultivate people in the process of progressive culture,third,it cultivates people from the people's values and beliefs.The aim of cultural cultivation of people also embodies in the varied levels,which consists of the core aim,fundamental aim and the basic one.2.It states the theory basis and ideology reference of cultural cultivation of people.The idea from Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels is “culture is the existence of humannature.And people's liberation is supplementary to culture development,people's mental power can promote culture development.Their ideas and Lenin's theoretical ideas on instilling are laying theoretical foundation for our research on cultural cultivation of people.Meanwhile,in the theory of ideology and politics education,which put forward;socialist advanced culture develops people,cultural environment influences people,and invisible methods educate people.All of these ideas also provide theoretical evidence for this research.In addition,the statements about people's observing rules in the study theory of modern society also provide ideology reference for this research.3.It states the elements,mechanism and condition of carrying out cultural cultivation of people.Cultural cultivation of people has four basic elements,including:educated subject,object,medium and environment.They are supplementary and cooperated closely,and form the relatively stable elemental structure.The process of cultural cultivation of people is actually the process of object subjectivity of culture values and its inner mechanism mainly includes humanization and humanization interaction mechanism,culture identity mechanism,culture internalization and externalization mechanism,influencing and imitating mechanism.Carrying out cultural cultivation of people has certain conditional requirements for the development of social culture,demands for mental culture of cultural subject,and self-development of ideology and politics education.In the era of strong socialist culture with the modern culture boom and rapid development,people and social modern development basically fulfills the conditions of cultural cultivation of people,which mainly includes: the development and maturity of social development,and people's demands for the mental culture are increasing,the humanities spirits of ideology and politics education is prominent.4.The current situation of cultural cultivation of people in colleges and universities are analyzed from three aspects,including: cultural cultivation of people work development in colleges and universities,existing problems,and influential factors.In this paper,it puts forward that cultural cultivation of people work development in colleges and universities mainly reflects in further deepening the ideas and practice of cultural cultivation of people,culture becoming the important method of cultural cultivation of people,and fully playing the function of the university culture.But some problems which can not be ignored are influenced by various factors,including:formalistic organization and implementation,lacking resultant force in general education,and students' disunity of knowing and doing.The influential factors of these problems are analyzed from the following aspects,including: big environment of social culture,the environment of campus culture,educator and educational mechanism.All of which are showed as the following details: The impact of China's leading culture in social transformation,the influence of bad campus subculture environment,the shakable education ideas from educators,and imperfect practical mechanism of education.5.The development direction of cultural cultivation of people are put forward from the following three aspects;that is,principles,methods and cooperated education with four elements in cultural cultivation of people.First,we should persist in the basic principles of cultural cultivation of people,that is,the principles of Marxism,respecting the students' development and educational rules,combing and cooperative education,unity of truth,goodness and beauty.Second,the methods of cultural cultivation of people should be improved,cultural cultivation of people is characteristic of invisibility,field and life practice,in terms of these,we put forward the methods of invisible education,“field” education and life forming.Third,from the four basic elements of cultural cultivation of people,the system of cooperated education with four elements is structured,including the following aspects: improving educators' values guidance,promoting self-development of university students,optimizing environment of cultural cultivation of people,and constructing the main position of cultural cultivation of people.
