The Impact Of Financial Aid On Human Capital Development

College students funding system plays a vital role in the development of the equality of educational opportunity,the fairness of educational process and the fairness of educational achievement in China.And college students funding is related to the improvement of the human capital and human capital competitiveness in our country.Along with the establishment and improvement of the funding system for college students in China,the total financial aid budget devoted to the system has risen sharply.It has become a great concern of the government and the educational administrative department that,whether the financial aid can significantly promote the development of the human capital.First,the author elaborates the background of this dissertation,reviews the progress and the main conclusion of the related research at home and abroad,and emphatically discusses the inner relationship between the university student financial aid and the impact of human capital development.Based on summarizing the thoughts,methods and main research conclusions of domestic related research,and build the influence model of college financial aid on human capital development.Second,through the analysis of the effect of financial aid to college students academic ability,it concludes as follows:(1)The award national scholarships have promoted the college students' academic ability,and with the increase of funding,it has further promoted students' academic ability,but it has no significant effects on improving college students' academic ability.(2)The national student loan with the purpose of paid funding,can help to improve students' academic performance;on the other hand,student loan has no significant influence on learning ability development.With the gradual improvement of the financing range,it reduces the occurrence of raising student achievement,and the influence on college students' learning ability development is limited.(3)Although the work-study positions,in the exchange of human capital and economic aid,has reduced the effective occurrence of raising the college students' academic' ability,the raise of funding has significantly positive effects on college students' academic ability.Third,after analyzing the influence of financial support on the quality of university graduates employment,it concludes as follows:(1)In national scholarships system,only the effective ratio between the scholarship and the quality of graduate employment has improved,at the same time,with the increase of fund strength,the effective ratio between the financial aid and the quality of graduate employment will be further improved.(2)The effective ratio can be enhanced between the national student loan and the quality of graduate employment,however,with the amplitude of the funding,in particular,when the funding strength reaches 100%,the effective ratio between them is reduced.(3)Work-study positions have no obvious effect on the quality of graduate employment;on the other hand,the improvement of funding can increase the effective ratio between funding and the quality of graduate employment.Finally,based on the empirical analysis of the influence of college financial aid on human capital,and combining with the demand of human capital development of poor students,this dissertation puts forward some feasible policy suggestions on students financial aid,which can be the decision-making basis for government.
