A Study On Social Historical Changes Of Huizu Qinhan Drainage Area In Ningxia

The paper takes the Huizu of the Qin-Han Drainage Area in the eastern of Yellow River in the center of Ningxia as the research main subject,mainly explores the social and historical development and changes of the Huizu from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China in this area by the methods of historical documents and field survey.The nationality response to the regional ecological environment,the political changes,and the times change in this region are discussed,and the effect and influence of the religious culture on Huizu society are also studied.The ultimate objective is to explore the problem of a group of people how to survive and develop in the history of a small area in the process of the complex and changeable major history,in order to further reveal the complexity and difficulty of survival destiny of human history.The Qin-Han Drainage Area of Ningxia is located in the mixing of agriculture and nomadism in China,and most of the time is regarded as the border region in the dynasty.For the main way of the Silk Road,and several northern nationalities migrated here,the area is a multi-culture gathered region in the history.Because of the advantages of the Yellow River irrigation,the agricultural development of Ningxia plain is given emphasis by each dynasty,and shaped the main two-nationality distribution pattern of Huizu and Hanzu On the Ming and the Qing Dynasties.The Kangxi and Qianlong period is the great development stage of Huizu society in Qin-Han Drainage Area,Huizu population increased gradually,the new Islamic denomination(Jahariyah Menhuan)entered Ningxia,shaped the important organizations and cohesiveness.Ma Hualong is the leading core of the Huizu Uprising in northwest China in the year of Tongzhi.Finally,the failure of the uprising is the watershed of Ningxia Huizu development,and also produced profound influence to the whole Huizu society of northwestern region.After the end of Qing Dynasty,Huizu in the Qin-Han Drainage Area revived gradually and lived in the essence of the area again,showed the rising and reviving,Huizu trade and business also developed greatly.On the Huizu society in this area,the Qadim denomination held a dominant position,the Jahariyah Menhuan recovered and the Ikhwan denomination began to quickly spread in the region.Influenced by the development and the new culture movement of Huizu,the Huizu education marched toward modern education and religious reform.During the Anti-Japanese War,Huizu showed the high national identity and patriotic enthusiasm,and also expressed the strong nationality consciousness to develop the nationality culture.The attempt and practice of the Chinese Communist Party ethnic policy brought new hope of development for Huizu society in Qin-Han Drainage Area.Above all,this paper investigates one of Chinese big history changes reflected by the regional small history,and also explores the historical support of the unity in diversity national pattern in China by Huizu historical changes case in Qin-Han Drainage Area.
