The reform of high school physical education and health curriculum,tightly concentrating on the guideline of health first,makes cultivating student with strong body and mind as well as adaptive capacity towards external circumstance a center task.Therefore,how to improve student's physical health level and ability in module course becomes a key issue in physical education curriculum.The thesis,in the light of the above,proposes to construct physical fitness-based module course by adopting the content system of the theme-based physical fitness module course.In doing so,the thesis argues about the necessity and feasibility of setting up physical fitness module course,as well as the method of establishing the system of theme-based physical fitness module course.Focusing on the key issue,this paper adopts documentation,questionnaire,interview,Delphi Method and action research to make a comprehensive study based on the "target" and "structure" orientation curriculum theory,the "functional decomposition" and "RR modular" psychological teaching theory,the “event-group” and "ladder" physical education curriculum theory.This paper mainly consists of five parts.Introduction begins with the research background and the research reason,followed by the system analysis and logical induction at home and abroad on the module curriculum and physical education theory research and practice as the research foundation,and the text research for education and psychology and sports science related mature theories as the theoretical basis of the study.The first part focuses on the research issue and research design.It starts with clarifying the research question and designing the research framework.Then it introduces the research methods it applied in the study.And finally it analyzes the value of the research.The second part focuses on the reality of the physical module curriculum.Stay organized around the two subjects-the high school physical curriculum and the track and field module course,the paper applies the method of questionnaire and interview to its study and provides some realistic basis and practical reference for the construction of the physical module curriculum and its content.The third part is to construct the content system of the subject physical module curriculum.On the basis of the analysis of the construction of the physical module curriculum content,in accordance with the "target leading content" principle,the paper firstly analyzes the target system of physical module curriculum.Then it puts forward the selection principle of physical module curriculum content and the methods of classification,and establishes the content system of theme-based physical module curriculum gradually.This paper proposes a three-level content system which consists of the assessment of the theme of the curriculum content(module theme),the context of of the content(sub module),and the competence of the content(teaching content).The fourth part uses the method of action research to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the physical module curriculum.In order to gain the opinion and suggestion of the students,the author designed an action research program under the help of the co-operative teachers,did three-round action researches,modified the problems occurred in the practice of the physical module curriculum,and did questionnaire and interview during the process.survey and random interviews to understand students' opinions and suggestions.Finally,the author summarizes,analyzes and reflects on the overall situation of the action research,and gives some suggestions and points out the future research direction.The last part concludes the findings of the study,clarifies the limitations of the research and looks forward to the future research direction.The main findings of this study are:First,it clarifies the necessity of adding physical module curriculum.In recent years,a serious decline in the physical fitness of young students has made strengthening students' physical fitness become the social focus.The guiding ideology of "health first" and the orientation of high school education determine that promoting the development of students' physical ability is the first goal of physical education curriculum in senior high school.However,the traditional "technology"-based high school physical education curriculum modules mainly targeted the development of the motor skills of students,which made the curriculum knowledge structure,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation mainly center on "technology" and failed to realize the goal to improve students' health.Therefore,it is necessary to add physical module curriculum.Second,it summarizes the defects of the content of traditional physical exercises.After investigating the physical education curriculum of China since its founding,it found that the main items of physical training track and gymnastics form is single and boring and students were unwilling to attend the physical education classes because of great physiological and psychological load.Physical exercise content needs to be improved and perfected,and emphasize the movement technology for physical development services,and add all the sports events into its physical module curriculum content so as to enrich the curriculum content and enable students to achieve the purpose of physical exercise enjoyably.Third,it examines the value orientation of the physical module curriculum.The value orientation of the curriculum concerns the choice of the basic value of curriculum construction.Based on the examination of the value orientation of physical education curriculum,the author holds that "student-oriented" is not only the value orientation of physical education curriculum,but is also the guidance of the construction of physical module curriculum."Student-oriented" is not only reflected in the curriculum goals of the students' physical and mental development,but also reflected in the fulfillment of students' needs in all aspects of the physical module curriculum design.Fourth,It investigates the theoretical basis for the construction of physical module curriculum content.The "target" and "structure" orientated curriculum theory,the "functional decomposition" and "RR modular" psychological teaching theory and the “event-group” and "ladder" physical education curriculum theory contribute much to the construction of the physical module curriculum content.Among the theories,the structure oriented curriculum theory provides a strong support for the theme-based construction of the physical module curriculum content.The "target" orientated curriculum theory provides an effective method for the construction of the physical module curriculum content.The “functional decomposition” and the " RR modular " psychological teaching theory provides support for the rationality of physical module and the “event-group” and "ladder" physical education curriculum theory provides some theoretical guidance to the construction of the content of the physical education module curriculum.Fifth,It clarifies the build path of the theme of physical fitness module curriculum content.Starting from the physical module curriculum objective and through the physical module curriculum content selection,classification and organization,the study gradually builds a three-level content system of the physical fitness module curriculum under the guidance of "Taylor Principle" the principle.This system mainly includes the assessment of the theme of the curriculum content(module theme),the context of of the content(sub module),and the competence of the content(teaching content).Sixth,It verifies the effectiveness of the content of the curriculum module.On the basis of the careful construction of the theme-based physical fitness module curriculum contents,this paper chooses a middle school in Chongqing to conduct three rounds of action research by cooperating with the school's physical education teachers.From the teaching practice and data collected in the questionnaire,it can be proved that the content system of theme-based physical curriculum module curriculum is not only feasible,but is also helpful to improve students' physical exercise initiative and ability.Next,It pays attention to the choice of physical module curriculum content.The highlight of the theme-based physical module curriculum is to break through the narrow scope of the traditional curriculum content,and extend it to all the sports technology projects,so as to realize the richness and interest of the course content.The physical curriculum content should firmly master the "target leading content" principle,and echoes with the physical module subject,so as to make the curriculum goal,curriculum content,theme module integrate into an organic whole.Last,It focuses on the three-dimensional health concept.Although the important goal of fitness module curriculum is to improve students' fitness,the students' mental health and social adaptability can not be ignored.Only the coordinated development of physical health,mental health and social adaptation ability is realized,can the guiding ideology of "health first" is really implemented.In a word,the study of theme-based physical module curriculum content pays attention to the "physical health first" guiding ideology and aims to improve students' physical fitness.It investigates the current situation of physical exercise and clarifies the relationship between physique and technique,and finally constructs the theme-based physical module curriculum content,and verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the content system in practice.This study plays a positive role in promoting the improvement of China's physical education curriculum system and enriching the theory of physical education curriculum.
