Since the promulgation of the curriculum standard of physical education and health in senior high schools in 2017,China’s senior high school physical education curriculum has paid more attention to the physical module year by year,but the development effect has been unsatisfactory.There are some problems,such as the tangible arrangement of class hours,the unsatisfactory Teaching effect,the boring content,the insufficient pertinence of objectives,the insufficient richness of forms and so on.As a front-line teacher,inspired by the excellent foreign physical education curriculum,the author attempts to introduce the excellent foreign physical fitness Module Curriculum-American fitness concept physical education curriculum into China’s physical education curriculum.This curriculum is a course to master the exercise principle,enhance physical quality and cultivate sports interest by imparting modern and scientific fitness knowledge and methods The model is most in line with the relevant requirements of China’s physical fitness module.The author intends to explore the possibility and effect of the curriculum in China’s physical education teaching through this research,and seek solutions for its localization development,so as to help the development of high school physical fitness module in China.Through the research methods of experiment,literature and expert interview,this paper introduces the American fitness concept curriculum into China’s physical education teaching for experimental research.The experiment is divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group adopts American fitness concept physical education course and the control group adopts track and field and physical fitness course.The teaching experiment is carried out in the middle school affiliated to Nanjing Normal University for two months.After the experiment,the effect of promoting physical health,improving sports knowledge and improving sports related ability are tested,and the corresponding conclusions are drawn through the analysis of data.The results show that the practice of American fitness course in school physical education teaching in China is feasible,and the actual effect of the course is good(mainly reflected in the improvement effect of physical education knowledge and physical education related ability),but there are still some problems in the process of localization development of the course.Suggestions: in the process of localization development of American fitness curriculum,we should ensure the curriculum implementation,rationally treat the differences,reasonably design the curriculum content and sublimate the curriculum objectives;In the development of physical fitness module in China,we should pay attention to absorbing the experience of foreign excellent courses,highlighting cognition,paying attention to knowledge,understanding and application.
