Research On Adult Students' Needs For Certification Of Community Learning Outcomes

This research comes from the focus on the research of certification of learning outcomes,thinking on the development of community education and the reflection on the practice of learning outcomes certification,to explore whether there are needs for certification of adult community learning outcomes,what the needs are,and what the problems are in the process of needs formation and satisfaction.Then it provides reference and suggestion for the theory and practice of certification of adult community learning outcomes.After stating the background,review and research design,the author discusses the question of "whether there are needs for the certification of adult community learning outcomes" from both the individual and the overall perspective of community school students with the interview method and the questionnaire survey method in the third chapter of the thesis.The research first presents four cases of students in community schools who participate in the certification of learning outcomes,and reveals origins,main characteristics,psychological performances and influence factors of the certification needs through their vivid certification experiences and true thoughts.Then,based on the interview research,the author designs needs scales of certification of community learning outcomes,which is used to measure the overall situation of the certification needs.The scale shows that adult students in community schools need certification;they agree with the certification of learning outcomes and have intention to certificate.Chapter four to chapter six,the thesis presents the needs of certification of community learning outcomes from six aspects,namely the purposes of certification,the subjects of certification,the conditions of certification,certification bodies,the contents of certification and the methods of certification,to answer the question of what the needs of certification of community learning outcomes are.In order to ensure the comprehensiveness of needs analysis,the thesis collects,analyzes and presents the information of the needs through different methods such as literature,survey,interview,questionnaire and so on.Literature research provides relevant theories and practical experience of certification of learning outcomes at home and abroad;survey research analyzes the basis and practical status;interview research presents the expectations and requirements of the community school students' needs to certification;the questionnaire survey presents the needs situation and influential factors.The analysis of needs of certification will provide basis and thoughts for the implementation of certification of community learning outcomes.What are the problems in the process of needs formation and satisfaction and how to solve? It's the third question to answer.The thesis answers it from six aspects of needs analysis,that is,the purpose of certification,the subject of certification,the conditions of certification,certification bodies,the content of certification and the methods of certification,and makes suggestions for meeting community school students' needs of the certification.The seventh chapter is the summary and reflection of the thesis.It answers the questions mentioned above,summarizes the contents of research mentioned in the first part of thesis,and puts forward some suggestions from the standpoint of work practice of credit bank that the credit bank should make service for the certification of community learning outcomes from five ways: building a communication bridge,establishing the certification system,creating bulletin boards,building service platforms,and creating the atmosphere of certification,which makes the thesis have great value in practical application.Furthermore,the thesis stands the point of individual and the whole development of community education based on studying the need of certification,provides a trend for further study of certification of community learning outcomes,which makes great value in theoretical development.
