Innovation capability is the key to realize the value-added cycle of enterprise innovation activity,which is the driving force of enterprise's sustainable development and the source of enterprise's core competitiveness.In recent years,how to enhance the innovation ability of enterprises has become an important issue of common concern in academia and practice.Researchers based on different theoretical perspectives to explore the influencing factors of enterprise innovation ability and its promotion path,such as customer orientation,learning orientation,total quality management,customer relationship management,knowledge sharing,and absorptive capacity and strategic adjustment.However,one of the most fundamental factors is organizational culture,and all the innovative economies are rooted in the specific organizational culture.Although there are rich theoretical achievements in the research on the relationship between organizational culture and enterprise innovation ability,there are still some theoretical gaps:Firstly,there are some differences between the existing research results on the relationship between enterprise organizational culture and enterprise innovation ability;Secondly,the existing research on the intermediate mechanism between organizational culture and enterprise innovation capability is not enough;Thirdly,the previous research mainly investigates the theoretical boundary of the organizational culture influence enterprise innovation ability in the technical environment,and has not yet taken into account the influence of organizational culture on innovation capability in the institutional environment;Finally,the previous research mainly investigates the theoretical boundary of total quality management and the enterprise's innovation ability under the technical environment,and does not take into account the institutional environment factors that affect the relationship between organizational culture and innovation capability.In this thesis,this research focuses on the core proposition of how organizational culture influences enterprise innovation ability.The adhocracy culture and clan culture are used as the variables to characterize the organizational culture characteristics of enterprises.Then proposes the research model of the intermediary role of total quality management(exploitative quality management and explorative quality management)based on the resource-based theory in the relationship between adhocracy/clan culture and enterprise innovation capability.And the Government Quality Award based on the neo-institutional theory on the relationship between adhocracy/clan culture and enterprise innovation capability,exploitative/explorative quality management and enterprise innovation capability.Moreover,data from 658 enterprises in Hubei Province,Anhui Province,Guangdong Province and Zhejiang Province,which implemented total quality management.Among them,197 enterprises won the Government Quality Award(including Nomination Award),and did not receive the Government Quality Award of the 461 enterprises,the use of Structural Equation Model,Bootstrapping,MacKinnon PRODCLIN2 program and group comparison method of the proposed model of the theoretical model for further analysis and testing.Based on the above research work,the main conclusions of this study are as follows:First,the adhocracy/clan culture has a significant positive impact on the enterprise's innovation capability,and the influence of clan culture on enterprise innovation capability is more significant.Second,the exploitative/explorative quality management has a significant positive impact on the innovation capability of enterprises,and the impact of explorative quality management on enterprise innovation capability is more significant.Third,the adhocracy culture has a significant positive impact on exploitative quality management and explorative quality management.The clan culture has a significant positive impact on exploitative quality management and explorative quality management.The impact of adhocracy culture on explorative quality management is more significant than clan culture on explorative quality management,and the influence of clan culture on exploitative quality management is more significant than adhocracy culture on exploitative quality management.Fourth,the exploitative quality management plays an important mediating role in the relationship between adhocracy/clan culture and innovation capability,and the explorative quality management plays an important mediating role in the relationship between adhocracy/clan culture and innovation capability.Fifth,the Gvovernment Quality Award moderates the relationship between adhocracy culture and innovation capability,and cannot moderate the relationship between clan culture and innovation capability.Sixth,the Gvovernment Quality Award moderates the relationship between exploitative quality management and innovation capability,and moderates the relationship between explorative quality management and innovation capability.The conclusion of this study deepens the understanding of the process of enterprise organizational culture(adhocracy culture and clan culture)on enterprise innovation capability,which makes this research have some exploratory significance.In particular,this research has been deepened and expanded in the following four aspects:(1)Proposes the model of exploitative/explorative quality management in the relationship between organizational culture(adhocracy culture and clan culture)and innovation capability based on the resources-based theory.(2)Explores the model of the Government Quality Award based on the neo-institutional theory on the relationship between the organizational culture(adhocracy culture and clan culture)and the enterprise innovation capability,and expands the theoretical boundary of the organizational culture influence the enterprise innovation capability.(3)Constructs a model of the Government Quality Award based on the neo-institutional theory on the relationship between the total quality management(exploitative quality management and explorative quality management)and the enterprise innovation capability,and defines the theory boundary of total quality management influencing the enterprise's innovation capability.(4)The measurement model of total quality management based on two dimensions of exploitative quality management and explorative quality management is extracted,which enriches and deepens the theory of total quality management and provides empirical support.
