Study On The Structure And Mode Of Space Of Day Care Center In Urban Community

The large-scale process of population aging affects the transformation of three basic modes of old-age care in China--institutional care,family care and community care.Due to the large population,rapid development,huge scale and high aging of empty nest,as well as the traditional concept of elderly care and the weak national economy,institutional care and family care cannot meet the needs of the elderly,and the community home care model is initially emerging.The community home-based care model is suitable for China's national conditions and has been increasingly favored by the Chinese government and the elderly,becoming a social care service industry that needs to be vigorously developed.The day care center for the elderly(daycare service center)is one of the community life support facilities.How to build the support facilities suitable for community life in a scientific way,and give play to the function of community institution for the aged,so as to truly put the community support construction of the aging society into practice.In 2010,China issued the standard of community day care center for the elderly and the standard design sample of community day care center for the elderly in 2013,providing guidance for the construction of community day care centers in China,enabling them to develop from scratch.However,in the actual survey,it was found that the existing community day care centers for the elderly were built or rebuilt,with different sizes and unclear urban planning land.The urban planning land is not clear,the land use is tight,the site layout is not standard,the space is simple,the constitution content is insufficient,the function use house is absent and so on,what restricted the community day care center's development and the operation.From space composition,spatial combination,location layout and so on,there is no in-depth research and exploration,which cannot meet the needs of further aging development.The research of this paper is carried out.The day care center for the aged(daycare service center)refers to the use of part of existing engineering facilities in urban communities to supplement barrier-free design,and form a space for catering,health and rehabilitation,communication and entertainment.Using it,the elderly can be entrusted by kinsfolk to the community during the day and returned home at night.Its advantages are low cost,nearby,improve care quality for family members and utilizing idle resources in the community.This method can meet the demand of severe aging society.Based on the principles of statistics,sociology and architecture,this paper uses social investigation,subjective response survey,expert questionnaire,space measurement,drawing and other methods,this paper studies the internal space function of the daily care center of the elderly in the community,the outer space of the day care center and the combination of the center and the outer space.Finally,the following innovative results are received:1.The space composition of a daily care service center.Through the research and analysis,Housing for living services,health care and rehabilitation,entertainment and auxiliary housing.At the same time the auther point out the name of each contained function room.The scale of the day care center for the elderly,the proportion of each space.The scale of the day care center for the elderly,the indexes such as the size of the day care center for the elderly,the proportion of each space and the area of functional rooms.were summarized in this section.2.The method of choosing the outdoor environment,location and layout of the community elderly care center is proposed.The feasibility strategy is put forward for the site selection and service radius of the building base,and the main points of the barrier free design are summarized,such as outdoor space elements,entrance,road,plant,paving,garden greening,and small design.Then,the design suggestions for the total plane layout,building orientation and sunshine distance of the day care center of the elderly people in the community are provided.3.The compound design of the elderly's daily care center is proposed.This section includes two aspects.The one is the compound design of internal function.Some parts of the spaces are incorporated functionally.Intelligent machinery and rail system are merged at the same time which makes full use of the interior function of daily care center.The other one is the compound design of external facilities.A compound model is proposed for different types of community public service facilities,including jointly build with residential buildings,jointly build with medical facilities,jointly build with kindergartens and so on,which could reduce operating cost and improve the efficient use of day care centers.The above research results can provide a positive effect about improving the environment and the building quality of the community day care centers for the aged,which can also reduce the cost.At the same time this paper provides a theoretical support for the design of the community daily care centers and lays a foundation for formulating corresponding standards.Finally,the results can be used for reference in planning and designing other pension facilities.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part of the background and foreshadowing(chapter 1,2 and 3)summarizes the current situation and trend of the development of old-age building at home and abroad.And through the example investigation,foreshadows the research question.The second part of the research content(chapter 4,5 and 6)is also the key chapter of this paper,which comprehensively sorts out and elaborates on the spatial structure,spatial environment and composite design of the elderly day care center.The third part is the prospect and conclusion(chapter 7)the future research and the summary of the research content.
