Gesar's Body Narrative Study

Gesar is a living culture.Writing text and oral presentation are the two main ways of its spread.They are also two important narrative forms inside and outside the epic text.Body narration is a special narrative strategy and form of body worship in Gesar.On the one hand,it is a continuation of mythological narrative,and the primitive thinking and cultural mode continue to play a role in heroic epics.On the other hand,heroic epics,as a product of mythological replacement and transformation,are also an attempt and variation to break away from the transformation of mythological thinking to poetic thinking.Therefore,the body in Gesar not only has the attributes of social history,but also shows the characteristics of culture.At the same time,it has the mark of power.It is a composite body which integrates natural body,social body and cultural body.Body narration can be accomplished through a text,but also through a narrative activity.The artists' personal dissemination and demonstration in the narrative activity is not only a historical presentation of Tibetan tribal society,but also a reflection of Tibetan poetic thinking.Taking the Tibetan heroic epic Gesar as the object of study and body narrative as the starting point of this paper,this paper intends to take the written text of Gesar and the oral activities of Gesar as the main research objects,and examine the characteristics of body narrative in the texts and oral traditions of Gesar from different dimensions,so as to reveal that body narrative is the internal and external narrative of Gesar.The multiple value and Enlightenment of strategy.Chapter One,"Historical Dimension of Body Narration in Gesar",this chapter investigates the historical orientation of the intertwined dimension of body in time and space,examines the complex relationship between body and history in Gesar from two aspects: the statute of history to body and the transcendence of body to history,and finally combs out the basic direction of body narration in Gesar.Chapter II "Cultural Dimension of Body Narration in Gesar".This chapter starts with the cultural dimension of body narration,analyses the process of the transformation from natural body to cultural body in Gesar,and starts with the relationship between body consciousness and body image,analyses the origin of the formation of cultural body in Gesar,and finally examines the more cultural body in Gesar.Emphasizing symbols reveals the cultural connotation of the body image in Gesar.Chapter Three,"Power Dimension of Body Narration in Gesar",which is based on the power dimension of body narration,surveys the passive state of female body in the perspective of others by summarizing the power relationship and power expression of the two sexes in Gesar.Finally,it analyses the internal and external factors of the lack of female body consciousness in Gesar,and points out the specific society.The pressures of power on the body in history and social formation.Chapter IV,"The Performance Dimension of Body Narration in the Oral Tradition of Gesar".With the help of the relevant knowledge of performance theory,this chapter focuses on the characteristics and functions of body narration of Gesar as oral literature in the field of performance theory.Firstly,the narrative characteristics of Gesar as oral literature are summarized,and the interpretation of the body narrative of Gesar from the perspective of performance theory may be explained.Then it combs the narrative types and characteristics of Gesar,then analyses the specific forms and narrative states of body narrative in Gesar's narrative activities,and finally summarizes the functions of body narrative in Gesar's narrative activities.Chapter V,"The Value and Significance of Body Narration in Gesar",this chapter will focus on revealing the multiple values and meanings of body narration in Gesar from three aspects of aesthetics,culture and literature.Firstly,it combs the aesthetic consciousness and ideal of the Tibetan ancestors in the specific historical period from the external beauty of the body and the writing of the strong body-building body,and then reveals the value and significance of the epic regarding human as the aesthetic object.Then,from the two aspects of religion andethics,it analyses the cultural significance of the body narrative in Gesar.Finally,from the perspective of literary tradition and anthropology,this paper analyses the Enlightenment of the body narrative strategy of Gesar on Tibetan literary tradition and human essence.The concluding part mainly combs the trend of body narration in Chinese and Western literary horizons,and summarizes the body appearance and body implication of body narration inside and outside the text of Gesar.It points out that this body body body subject,which contains Tibetan social structure,cultural form and aesthetic connotation,will be an important
