From the perspective of political system,this paper conducts an in-depth study about the history of calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty,aiming to reveal the relevance of calligraphy history and political system in the Tang Dynasty.Based on this perspective,this paper discussed the following aspects.According to the topic of the discussion,it can be divided into five parts.The first part reveals the "political attributes" of the calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty,and examines the calligraphy factors in the national classics of the Tang Dynasty,analyzes the political meaning behind the calligraphy activities and related books,and interprets their roles in dealing with political relations and maintaining the rule.In the second part,from the perspective of the administration of the document,the thesis considers why the two standards,"kai fa qiu mei" and "gong shu",were set in of calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty's selection system,and also explores their connotation and the relationship between them and the history of calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty.Based on the above discussion,this part also inspects “shu pan ba cui ke” and “shu pan”.The third part of the thesis focuses on Hanlin shu dai zhao serving the royal family with calligraphy skills,involving the nature of this group,the mode of employment,the content of work,the method of selection,the career path,and the social relationship.Finally,combining the handed-down and new stone inscription,this paper examines the influence of the court calligraphy of the Tang Dynasty on the calligraphy of Hanlin shu dai zhao's calligraphy,and their group characteristics.The fourth part focuses on the groups of wen shu li,kai shu shou,and shu zhi that serve in the administrative and cultural institutions,revealing the different positions and roles they have assumed in the institutional framework at the time.Combined with Dunhuang literature and Turpan documents,this paper summarizes their calligraphy features from the perspective of function.The fifth part studies the "calligraphy education system" of the Tang Dynasty.The purpose of this part is not to introduce the relevant system comprehensively,but to analyze the actual operation of these "calligraphy education system" and its influence on the development of calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty.The conclusion shows that in addition to shi shu,the role played by shu xue and Hong wen Museum in the history of calligraphy in the Tang Dynasty is obviously exaggerated.
