This article,through a field survey of Daping Village in Jiarong area,takes the most important religious ritual of the village--Dongjing as the starting point,and discusses the relationship between the ritual and the village community,is an ethnographic study of the village community.It is hoped to provide insights into the complex and dynamic relationships among people's diverse living styles,ethnic identity choices,ethnic identity changes,and social and cultural constructions in the cultural intersection of marginal areas.This article consists of an introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part expounds the reason,significance and field selection of the topic,and makes detailed reviews of the current situation of the relevant researches.It also briefly explains the main concepts and research methods of the article.The text is divided into five parts.Chapter 1,as the first part,outlines the multiple cultural fields in which Daping Village is located by describing the natural and cultural human environment and the process of Dongjing ritual.Chapter 2,as the second part,explores the relationship between rituals and ethnic identity in Daping Village,points out that the collective religious rituals represented by Dongjing ritual are the basis for Daping villagers to construct the "Anduojiarong Tibetan".Chapter 3 and 4 are the third part.By observing the interactions among individuals in the practice of the ritual,it discusses how the mutual aid ritual and the mutual aid system construct the social network of Daping Village.Chapters 5 and 6 are the fourth part,which respectively discusses the construction of ritual and village political authority and the construction of ritual and religion authority,in order to reveal the endogenous logic of the social integration of Daping Village.Chapter 7 is the fifth part of the text.Taking the changes of the Dongjing ritual as an example,it describes how the people in Daping Village reconstruct their cultural representations resource competition and interest competition.The conclusion part is a summary of the full text,which is based on field research,the reference of domestic and foreign theories,and case studies.In summary,the living space of Daping villagers has always been in a multi-cultural convergence zone,where there are collisions,interchanges,borrowings and innovations.In this process,under the guidance of identification,Daping villagers gradually have built a ?self-centered,self-contained? social culture.In this particular field,they not only have maintained the organic interaction with the mainstream culture of Jiarong,which through many elements of culture,such as language,custom,belief and norms.But also they gradually have established a self-centered position which is independent from the mainstream culture.Cases such as Daping Village are not a special case in the cultural confluence zone of the marginal area.Exploring it can provide insights into the ethnographic texts for understanding and reflecting on the “marginal” groups and their culture.
