Research On Community Identity Of New Citizens After"Village-to Habitat"

"Village-to-habitat" manifested the rural villagers’committee into urban residents committee. It is an effective way to speed up the urbanization process and achieve urban and rural integration. After "village-to-habitat", new community that is named "village-to habitat" community is dominated and promoted by the government policy, it made the land urbanize and census register population shift. Community governance is facing difficulties because of living space transformation, livelihood model changing, rule consciousness reconstruction and governance resources loss. The culture idea and value orientation of adaptability has become a prominent problem. How to rebuild their lives value and meaning by spiritual and cultural life with the main body of new citizens, to form new identity and social identity has become the realistic challenge of community governance effectively. It is significant for good community identity to increase people’s life happiness and community cohesion, to improve people’s living standards, to achieve "village-to-habitat" results and maintain social stability.This paper will be based on the past literature analysis and the existing practice, to put forward some countermeasures and suggestions in order to form community identity of new citizens after "village-to-habitat". This paper aimed at exploring mature community running mode can be used for reference in order to maintain the vital interests of new citizens, to promote "village-to-habitat" process of our country scientifically and to make a contribution to promote rural urbanization construction in China.This paper is divided into four parts. First of all, the paper will summarize the current research results and shortcomings by collecting the relevant literature of community identity of new citizens. Under the guidance of my mentor, I focus on the authenticity and availability of the literature. Secondly, it will expound the practice on the basis of this paper with specific cases. Thirdly, according to the existing practice exploration of community identity of new citizens after "village-to-habitat" in our country, I summarize the experience of enlightenment, and deep analyze of the main problems and causes of Community H in Mingcun Country of Pingdu City, Shandong Province. And it’s the content of this paper needs to focus on and solve. Fourth, on the basis of the above research and analysis, to reshape community identity of new citizens, I put forward have feasible countermeasures and suggestions.
