In the 21st century,competitions between countries are actually the competitions of the creativity of its talents.Therefore,countries all over the world have been attaching great importance to cultivating creative talents,and a series of policies and regulations have issued in order to change their education mode and update their talent training mechanism.Students'ability to solve problems is one of the core competencies of creative talents.Consequently,enhancing students'problem-solving ability is an entry point to the cultivation of innovative talents and meanwhile it is the inevitable way to deepen the reform of teaching and education in china.Based on the rapid development of network technology,this thesis focuses on the demands of creative talents of basic education reform,and practically,an empirical research is implemented to promote students problem-solving abilities by using updated technology.Between 2013 and 2015,the schools involved in the Intel projects,which are located in the Chengguan District of L city,are selected as the samples.Based on the research paradigm,this thesis makes a thorough research on the application mode of the cultivation of students'problem-solving abilities from theoretical analysis,mode construction and teaching practices.As for the theoretical analysis,the paper proposes 6 steps of problem-solving process on the basis of available references and related theories,which include understanding and describing the problem,working out the potential solutions to the problem,choosing the optimal strategy to solve the problem,carrying out the solution,feedback and exchange the solutions.Correspondingly,there are 6 sub-abilities,namely understanding ability,distinguishing ability,expressing ability,problem-solving ability,feedback ability and communicating ability.Meanwhile,the related behavioral indicators are analyzed,and 14 factors that influence students'problem-solving abilities are discussed as well,such as knowledge level,individual features,mental and intellectual situation and so on.Combining the functions of network“teaching and learning space”,11 factors that positively impact the cultivation of students'problem-solving abilities are proposed.A Q-C-Q evaluation system is established and additionally,the theoretical and empirical bases of the construction of network"teaching and learning space"application mode are thoroughly analyzed.A deductive method is employed in mode construction.After analyzing the relationship among network“teaching and learning space”,sub-abilities of problem-solving and factors that influence the students'problem-solving abilities,this paper focuses on the behavioral indicators corresponding to each sub-ability.Thereafter,5 steps are inferred to cultivate students'problem-solving abilities,i.e.creating spatial circumstances to provide problem framework,providing tools to analyze the supplementary representation,organizing online discussions to design the implementation plan,exhibiting feedback design and summarizing related experience.Furthermore,the DPSC teaching application mode of network"teaching and learning space"is constructed to develop students'problem-solving abilities.Thereafter,experts'advice is consulted to make some necessary preliminary amendments to the teaching application mode.The empirical practice part is the research on DPSC application mode about network"teaching and learning space".Based on above-mentioned mode,the patterns of teaching activities are designed and then applied in the teaching process of specific subjects.The validity of the Network"teaching and learning space"Space----DPSC Application Mode is verified by three curricula teaching involved in action study combined with quasi-experimental research in order to testify its function in cultivating students'ability to solve problems;besides,the application mode and teaching design are amended for 3 times.Meanwhile,6 points are put forward to attract attention and the four principles are summarized while using DPSC mode in teaching practices,that is,cultivating interest,developing habits,mastering methods and promoting abilities.Eventually,this paper proposes 17 teaching strategies and 7method while applying the mode in teaching activities,including extraction method,question assigning method,independent discovery method,divergent approach,experiencing method,maker approach and competition method.Conclusions are drawn in the thesis as following.First,the teaching application mode of network"teaching and learning space"constructed in this study can effectively improve students'ability to solve problems.Then,the designed DPSC teaching activities based on network"teaching and learning space"can effectively assist teachers to carry out teaching activities using the new model.In addition,taking advantage of the"teaching and learning space"to carry out teaching activities can help students to engage in online and offline learning.At the same time,it is helpful to achieve the goal of cultivating students'ability to solve problems.Last,the proposed teaching application mode is suitable for conventional teaching applications.Among the studies on cultivating students'problem-solving abilities both at home and abroad,this paper first comes up with the method to cultivate students'problem-solving ability with the application of network“teaching and learning space”,and further investigates the theory and method of DPSC mode.There are several innovations in this paper.First,this study raises the brand-new idea of applying network“teaching and learning space”to develop students'problem-solving abilities and makes up the lack of students'problem-solving abilities in conventional teaching practices.Second,the DPSC mode is constructed to foster students'problem-solving abilities,and the teaching process of the mode demonstrates the process of fostering the students'sub-abilities.Therefore,the related theoretical framework is established for further studies.Last,the proposed mode break the traditional method to cultivate students'problem-solving abilities through special training,and the cultivation process is combined with daily teaching practices.As a result,the normalized cultivating methods and strategies are explored to foster students'problem-solving abilities.
