The happiness of the majority of primary and secondary school teachers is an important part of the happiness of hundreds of millions of Chinese people,which not only has an important impact on the working status of teachers and the quality of education,but also is related to the learning,growth and happiness of hundreds of millions of youth.If education is prosperous,the country will prosper,and if education is strong,the country will be strong.Teachers are the foundation of education.The better teachers are,the better education is.The country will be good if education is good.Teachers' well-being has an important influence on students' well-being,parents' well-being and people's well-being.In a sense,teachers' well-being is an important issue related to the development of students,the happiness of the people and the prosperity of the country.Studying and solving the existing problems not only has important theoretical value,but also has important practical significance.In this research,Martin Seligman's happiness theory,the most authoritative in the world,is combined with the reality of Chinese education,and applied to the study of teachers' well-being in primary and secondary schools,in order to solve the existing practical problems.First of all,it expounds the background,purpose and significance of this research,research methods,research technical route and the connotation of the core concept,and clarifies the research ideas.Secondly,Chinese and foreign databases such as "CNKI","Duxiu","Wanfang Data","Chao Xing" and "Springer" are used to search for literature about teachers' well-being for analysis and collation,based on the previous research results.Thirdly,it systematically combs the development process of happiness theory and positive psychology,and systematically combs the formation and development process of Seligman's happiness theory.It discussed Martin Seligman's Authentic happiness,Flourish and PERMA well-being model in detail,and scientifically compares Seligman's happiness theory with other happiness theories.Fourthly,based on Seligman's theory of flourish,the PERMA Happiness questionnaire for Primary and Middle School Teachers with good reliability and validity is developed.Questionnaires and interviews were conducted in 14 schools,and the survey data were statistically analyzed,revealing the main problems of teachers in six aspects: positive emotion,meaning,input,interpersonal relationship,achievement and overall well-being.Fifthly,in-depth exploration,there are six main causes of these problems:(1)The whole society is lack of understanding of the importance of primary and secondary school teachers' well-being.(2)Pessimistic interpretation style tends to hinder the generation of positive emotions of primary and secondary school teachers.(3)The high intensity and repetitive physical work affects the psychological input of primary and middle school teachers.(4)School management to be improved leads to interpersonal tension among primary and secondary school teachers.(5)Professional cognitive conflict and inefficiency seriously affect the formation of sense of meaning of primary and middle school teachers;6.The utility of teachers affects the positive achievement of primary and secondary school teachers.Finally,Based on Seligman's theory of flourish and the related research of positive psychology,this paper puts forward some effective measures to improve teachers' happiness in primary and secondary schools.The first is to enhance the understanding of the importance of teachers' well-being,and the whole society should create conditions for teachers' well-being;the second is to implement optimistic explanation to enhance teachers' positive emotion;the third is to improve the mode of educational work and improve the quality of teachers' work involvement;the fourth is to strengthen and improve interpersonal relations and cultivate a positive educational community to jointly enhance the well-being of the members of the community;the fifth is to find meaning,high-level survival and struggle;the sixth is to respect teachers and love teachers to enhance teachers' sense of gain and achievement;the seventh is to carry out counseling service of teachers' happiness psychology to solve teachers' different psychological problems of happiness.
