With the continuous development of social economy and the rise of positive psychology,happiness has become one of the important indicator of our life status. As a unique group, thecommunity of teachers both experiences the happiness in the process of teaching, andtransforms their happiness to the educatees by their work. Although the teaching happinesshas caused extensive study in recent years, the number of studies is relatively small. Thisstudy adopted literature analysis, interview method, questionnaire method to investigate thestructure, the present status, and their influence factors of teaching happiness of middle andprimary school teachers of the western area of Liaoning province. Several effective strategieswhich might promote the teaching happiness were also discussed. There were360primaryand secondary school teachers in the western of Liaoning province participated the presentproject.This research main research conclusions came as follows:(1) The structure of teachinghappiness of the primary and secondary school teachers includes satisfaction in the process ofteaching, Students’ learning effect, a sense of accomplishment in the process of preparing,good interaction between teachers and students of four parts.(2) The questionnaire ofteaching happiness of primary and secondary school teachers in Liaoning has a acceptablereliability and validity.(3) The overall level of teaching happiness in the western Liaoning ofprimary and secondary school teachers teaching located at average level; teachers in theteaching work were happiness.(4) Male teachers’ teaching happiness was significantly higherthan female’; Key school teachers’ teaching happiness was significantly higher than ordinaryschool teachers’; Title, economic status and physical and mental health level significantlycorrelated with the happiness of teaching; Personality, ability to cope with stress, job burnout,the sense of mission, achievement motivation, social support and teachers’ teaching happinessalso significantly correlated.The effective measures to improve teachers’ teaching happiness needed to improve theteachers’ economic conditions; to ensure that teachers’ physical and mental health in theprocess of teaching; to improve teachers’ ability to cope with stress; to enhance teachers’ senseof purpose and achievement motivation; to provide teachers with subjective and objective support.
