The Research On Dung Shijin’s Farmer Thoughts

This article firstly explained the main problem that farmers in Modem History and Dung shijin how to touched the Farmers’ problem.Chinese farmers in Modern History faced shortage of land,they became much poorer.Except this,their political strength was small,how pity was that farmers’organization could not take the responsibility of protecting poor farmers’ benefits.The living environment became bad,including natural disaster and unsteady institution,all of these treated farmers’ daily life.As the farmers’ son,Dung shijin was cultivated by his own family that was good at managing agriculture,the other side he naturally was interested in Agriculture.So farmer’s poor in economy and lowness in politics,even no way to protect their benefits,would ignore his thinking.The chance that Dunshijin met farmers’ problem was just China’s thinkers discussing on industry or agriculture as country’s main developed road.As the holding agriculture theory,Dungshijin put forward great agricultural country theory which conducted his whole life.To be honesty,Dung shijin faced the first problem which how to solve farmers’ poverty.All time and all place,thinking,watching,and experienced,Dung shijin considered more farmer less land was the biggest obstacles.For breaking this obstacle,he wrote articles about Jiangxi’s agricultural politics in 1934-1937,trying to changing the simple planted models.After the Anti-Japan,in the calling of saving country,Dungshijin published the magazine named Modern Farmer.Using the magazine,he devoted how to deal with farmers’ poverty,pass the idea that right belonging to common people,and took the historical responsibility to cultivate modern farmer.During this period,Dungshijin adopted the agriculture experts as useful resource,and they often wrote agricultural articles.These articles often was written by shallow patter in order to supply service to farmers.More important,in the special saving environment,Dungshijin paid attention to the local language to encourage farmers to produce more food and devote stuff for country,so let the farmers knew they should take the responsibility.On the other side,Dungshijin also paid a lot energy to watch country’s policy.Especially on the rice price,he did not agree government lowed the price.In his views,the government’s method was not good for farmers efforts to plant.He also considered that only lowered the price of com was unfair to farmer-During this period,he continued to his agriculture policy named positive policy which tried to break self-producing policy,so the agriculture could the task of making the country strong.As the triumph of anti-Japan,different parties like rained-bamboo established,Dungshijin thought the chance for creating a party was coming,which meant to cultivate the farmers’ strength by a party.China Farmer Party announced in Shanghai in May,1947.They chose Dungshijin as the chairman.As a naive Party in Modern History,China Farmer Party from constructive standpoint,pealed that country and city should develop head in head,country was not the sacrifices for developing city and government must respect farmers’ right to gain land.There is no doubt those ideas may be has shortages,however,Dungshijin’s thinking and practices seemed to be more deep than the other people.In one word,The party was the most highest in Dungshijin’s life,which also stood intellectuals in Modern History in searching for protecting farmer’s benefits.During the 1947 to 1949,Dungshijin concentrated on the land problem.The reasons that he insisted on private land system were:the land of owner was gained by hard word or not;employed farmer system was better than farmers themselves or not;the land was occupied by seldom or not;land shared in even whether or not to bring more product.These ideas was challenged by other people,although they could not push over his ideas scientifically.Like many intellectual,because of his own kindness,he kept his ideas until leaving the country.The conclusion of this article is that:Farmer’s career is agriculture,which is the great character of Dungshijin’s farmer idea.In such basic knowing,using positive agricultural policy and party’s strength,from economy and politics,cultivated traditional farmer to turn modern farmer,which emphasized farmers’ responsibility,and the state should also respect farmers’ right.These expected ideas was rared with other people.Its special meaning is that:He insisted on Great Agricultural Country theory,considered that China’s development should not sacrifice farmers’ benefits.During the long time with farmer,he furthered to realize that no political strength,no great road for farmers.
