Theoretical And Empirical Research On Enterprises Mainstream And Newstream Innovation Evolution

At present,domestic and overseas scholars' researches on enterprises mainstream and newstream innovation evolution are still in the initial stage.Owing to the absence of theory and empirical study,the evolution of mainstream&newstream innovation can not be effectively guided.What are the rules and paths of mainstream&newstream innovation evolution?How to transform from newstream to mainstream?How to overcome the conflict between mainstream and newstream,and how to promote collaborative development of the two?How to optimize the allocation of innovation resources?All these obove questions need further discussion.In the light of this,the dissertation carries out theoretical and empirical research on mainstream&newstream innovation evolution by comprehensive using of document research,theoretical model construction,multi-case study,mapping research,and system dynamics.The main contents are as follows:(1)A two-dimensional theoretical model is constructed taking innovation life cycle and innovation ability as dimensions based on the theory of technology life cycle.It explains the substitution and symbiosis mechanism of mainstream and newstream innovation evolution,and analyzes the two evolution paths:one is the combination of successive maintenance and discontinuity transition,the other is the combination of progressive symbiosis and radical replacement.And then case studies are carried out taking Fushun and King Tanso as examples.The results show that the dynamic evolution of mainstream and newstream innovation promotes the upgrading of enterprises innovation,shapes a rising stream of innovation,and achieves sustained indigenous innovation,so as to break the innovation dilemma.(2)In order to deal with the problem of conflict between mainstream and newstream innovation in the course of evolution,a three-dimensional model is built taking innovation life cycle,innovation ability and innovation synergy degree as dimensions,based on the viewpoint of synergy.It reveals the laws of changing from conflict to synergy in the process of mainstream&newstream innovation.And then case study is carried out taking Haiyuan Machinery as example.The research results show that:the evolution of mainstream&newstream innovation,which continues to break the static equilibrium and realize the dynamic collaborative development,provides a new kinetic energy and a new path for continuous cyclic innovation and sustainable growth of indigenous innovation ability.(3)A Four-dimensional model is set up taking innovation life cycle,innovation element,innovation ability and innovation synergy as dimensions,which outlines the evolution of mainstream&newstream innovation in four-dimensional space.It reflects the relationship between innovation elements,innovation ability and innovation synergy degree,and reveals the regulation of their evolution along with the innovation life cycle.Then multi-case studies are carried out taking E-Time,Tietuo Machinery and Fynex Textile as examples.Research shows that:allocatiing innovation elements optimally,promoting coordinated development of mainstream&newstream innovation,and then rising sustainable indigenous innovation ability,provides a new direction and breakthrough for enterprise mainstream&newstream innovation evolution.(4)Combining with the basic principles and methods of mapping,this paper plots the important factors of nine firms in each mainstream&newstream innovation life cycle on the innovation map,including technology,products,proportion of R&D and sales per capita.The innovation evolution map shows the status and internal relationship of enterprise mainstream&newstream innovation evolution in different industries,and provides a comprehensive,intuitive and visual assistant decision-making tool for enterprise innovation management.(5)In this paper,the system dynamics model of mainstream&newstream innovation evolution is established by using the system dynamics method.Taking Haiyuan Machinery as the research object,relevant data are collected and collated,and then system parameters are set.The impact factors of innovation income and the innovation investment portfolio are simulated by using Vensim PLE software.System'dynamics simulation of mainstream&newstream innovation evolution provides scientific basis and reference for solving the innovation bottleneck,promoting innovation standardization,allocating innovation resource rationalization and maximizing innovation benefit.In summary,this paper reveals the internal mechanism of the substitution and symbiosis,conflict and synergy,optimization and configuration of elements in mainstream&newstream innovation evolution.It further deepens the theoretical research on evolution of mainstream&newstream innovation.This study has reference for firms promoting the coordinated development of mainstream&newstream innovation,establishing the mechanism of continuous innovation,so as to cross the technogical traps,and to realize the upgrade of indigenous innovation level and sustainable development.
