Research On The Circulation Efficiency And Improving Route Of Agricultural Products In China

The logistics of agricultural products is an important part of commodity logistics,which is closely related to people's livelihood.It plays an important role in realizing the value of agricultural products,promoting the three aspects of"agriculture,countryside and farmers" and safeguarding the basic needs of residents.Since the reform and opening up,the problem of shortage in agricultural products has been basically solved in China.However,due to various reasons,the logistics efficiency of agricultural products has failed to improve substantially.Issues like cumbersome procedures,high cost,big loss,low efficiency and etc,are still outstanding.The phenomenon of agricultural products being" hard to sell and expensive to buy" persists,becoming the core problem that restricts the logistics of agricultural products.It is of great value for us to strengthen the research on the logistics efficiency of agricultural products,to further analyze the problem existent in the logistics,and to learn from domestic reform and overseas experience.We can deepen our theoretical research and find out logistics modes suitable for China's national conditions and the development of economy and society.This will rapidly improve the level of industrialization,intensification,modernization and internationalization of agricultural products logistics in China.Also,it is of great theoretical and practical significance for the deepening of the reform as well as the improvement of our national economy.Based on the theory of logistics,industrial economics and value chain,this paper makes a comprehensive review of the problems and finds out the causes of the low logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China by looking at the history,background and characteristics of development.On the basis of empirical research,this paper makes a quantitative calculation and analysis of the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in 31 provinces in recent years by using Malmquist Index analysis method,and builds a model to conduct statistical analysis and empirical research on specific factors.From perspectives of internal element and external policy,this paper proposes suggestions to improve the logistics efficiency,in order to provide theoretical and policy basis for further perfecting the logistics system of agricultural products and improving the logistics efficiency of agricultural products.It provides a new theoretical support and practical choice for the top-level design and system reform of agricultural product logistics.The thesis consists of nine chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.It discusses research background,significance,the main content and methods of analysis.The second chapter summarizes the theoretical basis,defines the concepts related to the logistics of agricultural products,summarizes the relevant literatures at home and abroad,and lays out the theoretical basis for this study in a comprehensive way.The third chapter discusses the development course,present situation and trend of agricultural products logistics in China,mainly from the historical,realistic,future perspectives.It traces back to the history of logistics of China's agricultural products,and focuses on the reality.It carries out a comprehensive analysis and probes into the development trend of agricultural product logistics industry.The fourth chapter examines the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China.It comprehensively examines the main problems in the current agricultural product logistics system in China,and has laid a good foundation for further refining the efficiency research.The fifth chapter is the evaluation of the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China.It is the empirical study of influencing factors.It discusses the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China that has been comprehensively evaluated,with its influencing factors being modeled.It also bases study on statistical analysis and empirical research from many aspects.The sixth chapter discusses how to improve the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in developed countries or regions,from the perspective of comparative study.It probes into the main characteristics and concrete methods of improving the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in developed countries and regions,and provides reference for improving the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China.The seventh chapter explores the path for improving the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China,which is guided by the problems existing in the logistics system of agricultural products in China,especially in view of the factors affecting the logistics efficiency of agricultural products.This paper systematically puts forth the possible path of improving the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China.The eighth chapter makes policy suggestions.It also puts forward some concrete suggestions for improving the logistics efficiency from the angle of external policy guarantee.The ninth chapter summarizes the research of this paper,and explores the problem further,points out two problems that need to be further explored.This paper mainly uses the literature research method,the comparative research method,the system analysis method,the analysis and the quantitative analysis combination research method.The main contributions are listed here.First,the innovation on concepts.This paper makes an in-depth analysis and demonstration of the connotation,theory and reality influencing logistics efficiency.It tries to solve the problems of insufficient systematization and limited theoretical support for the current research.Second,the application of concepts into practice.By using Malmquist Index Analysis method,this paper quantitatively evaluates the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in 31 provinces in China between 2007-2017,and constructs data measurement model on this basis.It carefully studies the factors that affect the logistics efficiency of agricultural products.In determining and selecting demand and supply factors,this paper adopts unique approach.Third,policy innovation.On the basis of quantitative analysis and demonstration of empirical research based on models,this paper studies the way to improve the logistics efficiency of agricultural products in China.It incorporates concrete contents in specific fields as well as policy suggestion at the macroscopic level.Thus,it forms a more complete agricultural product logistics efficiency realization model.Some of these path and policy recommendations have been adopted by the relevant ministries and implemented across the country.
