Research On The Coordinated Development Mechanism Of Urban Agglomeration Based On Industrial Space Differentiation

At present,22 urban agglomerations are building or planning in China,hoping to help industrial transformation and coordinated development through the polarization and diffusion effect within the urban agglomeration and the overall competitiveness promotion of the urban agglomeration.Taking urban agglomeration as the basic unit to participate in regional and global competition is an inevitable trend of globalization development.The coordination,which is root of competition,depends on the industry association.The industry association affects economic coordination,and then social,cultural and ecological synergy.The change of industrial relations will gradually influence the coordinated development quality of the whole urban agglomeration,and will finally affect competitive power of urban agglomeration.Now the main change of industrial relations lies in the geographic spatial pattern,specific performance is secondary and tertiary industries change between aggregation and separation of industrial organization forms.Understanding the mechanism of the coordinated development of urban agglomeration is conducive to better industrial policy based on the industrial spatial differentiation and then enhance the overall competitive power of urban agglomerations.The main purpose of this study is analysis the relationship between industrial spatial differentiation and coordinated development of urban agglomeration from the perspective of industry,especially from the change perspective of the policy industrial spatial organization form and the distribution pattern.Eventually the urban agglomeration development will be be guided to systemic coordinated development orbit from diversification development orbit.The main research process is to analysis the relationship between the industrial spatial differentiation and the coordinated development of urban agglomeration in theory firstly,including connection,progressive logic and complex effect etc.Secondly the suitable statistical index and statistical data are selected according to the research practice for better quantitative study.Then there is the empirical analysis,with industrial spatial differentiation as main variables and industry development level,urban agglomeration forms as auxiliary variables.Finally the conclusion and suggestions are given accordingly.The theoretical study of the relationship between industrial spatial differentiation and the coordinated development of urban agglomeration consists of two parts,one is the qualitative research of logic process from the behavior starting to the coordinated development results,the other is mathematical model of the process.Industrial spatial differentiation,which is the fundamental impetus of urban coordination,can be explained from the micro-level of the integration of enterprise development strategy and location choice difference,the med-level of cluster resources,cost and value measure,and the macro-level of industrial upgrading,regional balanced development and external competition.Under the above strength,three effect results happened.These results including the externality effects of resources,products and money,the externality effects of knowledge associated with technology,the effects of matching,coordination and efficiency multiplier.Through progressive and feed of micro,mid and macro levels,mix and mutual embed on industry and geography dimension,and association and mutually promotion of three effect results,industrial spatial differentiation influences economy,space and social process of urban,and then influences the coordinated development of urban agglomerations.A mathematical model,that a urban agglomeration with only two cities and two types of industry,is applied based on C-D function to study the relationship between industrial spatial differentiation and the coordinated development of urban agglomeration,especially study the influence of industrial spatial differentiation on the coordinated development of urban agglomeration,and then providing theoretical basis for further research and empirical analysis.For the better understanding of the relationship,the actual development of Chinese urban agglomeration is provided as an empirical case.This article selects the appropriate statistical index and statistical data of 22 for China urban agglomeration from 2000 to 2015 to study the relationship.In order to research the differences between the east,middle and west urban agglomeration,selects the pearl river delta urban agglomeration,Changsha Zhuzhou Xiangtan urban agglomeration and Chengdu Chongqing urban agglomeration as typical research.Through establish regression model with the industrial spatial differentiation as the main explanatory variables,the secondary and tertiary industry development level for auxiliary variables,the coordinated development of urban agglomerations as interpreted variable,this article empirically analyses the relationship between the industrial spatial differentiation and the coordinated development of urban agglomerations from three comparative Angles including different area,different industry category and type of different cities based on the actual development of Chinese urban agglomeration.Research conclusions include:There are quadratic linear relationship between the industrial spatial differentiation and the coordinated development of urban agglomeration.That is to say there are inflection points which will bring threshold effect.Moreover,the threshold effect is different between different regional urban agglomerations,different industrial categories and different urban categories.The situations of the national overall,eastern and central urban agglomeration are similar.The obvious positive change of the industrial spatial differentiation can not bring the same obvious positive change of the coordinated development of urban agglomeration when the industrial spatial differentiation below the threshold value.But when above the threshold value,the change is obvious.The westen urban agglomeration is different.The obvious positive change of the industrial spatial differentiation can bring the obvious negative change of the coordinated development of urban agglomeration when the industrial spatial differentiation below the threshold value.When above the threshold value,the change is positive.The positive promote effect that industrial spatial differentiation,which originates from manufacturing services and new manufacture,brings to the coordinated development of urban agglomeration is most obvious.The positive promote effect that industrial spatial differentiation,which originates from manufacturing services and traditional manufacture,brings to the coordinated development of urban agglomeration is secondary obvious.The positive promote effect that industrial spatial differentiation,which originates from manufacturing services and heavy manufacture,brings to the coordinated development of urban agglomeration is least obvious.There are also difference in positive promote effect according to different areas.City category,overall,the core city layout manufacturing services,non-core city layout space differentiation pattern of traditional manufacturing industry contribute most to the coordinated development of urban agglomeration,the core manufacturing services,city layout non-core cities emerging manufacturing industrial spatial layout pattern of differentiation,the core manufacturing services,city layout non-core heavy industry city layout pattern of industrial spatial differentiation minimal impact on the coordinated development of urban agglomerations.Other variables also affect the coordinated development of urban agglomeration directly or indirectly.Services account for more than will not only through the "quantity" to promote the whole urban agglomeration can be used for space differentiation,the total industry will also through the change of service between the city layout to improve the "quality" of the industrial spatial differentiation,finally can not only directly affects the coordinated development of urban agglomeration,and through the industrial spatial differentiation threshold change indirectly influence the coordinated development of urban agglomerations.Industrial output per capita,the number of core cities and whether the variables are different provinces will also have an impact on the coordinated development of urban agglomerations.Of course,in different regions,industries and urban categories,the above impacts are also different.Policy Suggestions of this paper include: urban agglomeration can promote the coordinated development of the overall quality of using industrial spatial differentiation as,in the coordinated development of early differentiation is not smooth to have the full mental preparation,reasonable estimates of threshold value to develop secondary and tertiary industry layout and development of the scientific planning,system to adjust the structure and distribution of manufacturing and manufacturing services to lower the difficulty of differentiation;Area,industry,urban studies the relationship between the industrial spatial differentiation and the coordinated development of urban agglomeration,classification research area,industry and city of different combination cases of threshold,in order to select the optimal path of development and reduce differential threshold value;To establish a higher level urban agglomeration coordination mechanism,so as to be able to solve the problem of inter-provincial segmentation effect on the coordinated development of urban agglomeration.
