China is striding into a new era of innovation-driven development,innovative factors are important strategic resources for implementing innovation-driven development and ensuring regional innovation performance improvement.Without the free,efficient and fully innovation factors flowing in different geographical spaces,it is impossible to truly achieve the coordinated development of regional innovation and the overall improvement of regional innovation performance.The spatial flow of innovation factors is becoming an emerging research topic in the field of spatial economics and innovation geography.This study combines relevant theories and literature review,based on the definition of relevant concepts,specifically analyzes the theoretical mechanism of the spatial flow of innovative talented people,innovative capitals and innovative technology factors and its impact on regional innovation performance.Then explores in detail the spatial layout of innovative talented people,innovative capitals and innovative technology spatial flows in terms of flow preferences,spatial agglomeration centers,and spatial correlations.Finally empirically revealed the specific impacts of the spatial flows of innovative talented people,innovative capitals,and innovative technology on regional innovation performance.Based on the above studies,the main conclusions are:First,China's innovation factors have a variety of spatial flows,they can be achieved comprehensive flows through the following seven channels of innovative talent migration,R&D capital direct investment,R&D outsourcing,technology alliances,industry-university-research innovation cooperation,inter-regional trade of technology and high-tech products,and government nesting.The main cause of the current spatial flow of innovation factors in China is the synergistic motivation driven by the market-driven and government-driven.Moderate innovation factors spatial flow can effectively exert the dynamic optimization allocation effect of innovation factors,the cross-regional spillover effect of innovation knowledge,the internal and external economies of scale effect and the cross-regional innovation cooperation network effect,thus promoting the overall improvement of regional innovation performance.But the abnormal spatial flow will lead to crowed competition and back sucking effects,thus inhibiting regional innovation performance.Second,the preference pattern of China's innovation factors spatial flow presents a more uneven layout and shows a certain spatial inertia.The preference main magnetic field is located in the eastern region.At present,the preference layout of innovative talented people spatial flow is generally consistent with the “Hu Huanyong” line distribution,and its strongest preference magnetic pole is Beijing.The preference layout of innovative capitals spatial flow generally presents the “Chuan” type structure consisting of “eastern coastal zone—Henan,Hubei and Hunan—Sichuan”,and its most preferred magnetic pole is Guangdong.The preference layout of innovative technology spatial flow presents a horizontal “T”-shaped structure consisting of “eastern coastal areas—Anhui,Hubei,Shaanxi,and Sichuan” and its most preferred magnetic pole is Beijing.The inter-province preference of innovative talented people and innovative technology have a certain divergence trend,and the innovative capital's has a certain concentration trend.Third,the spatial agglomeration center pattern of innovation factors spatial flow has evolved more stably,and there are regional differences in the intensity of aggregate intensity.The agglomeration center layout of innovative talented people spatial flow is the most stable,the innovation technology's is second,and the innovative capital's is the most unstable.At present,the agglomeration degree of innovation talented people flow is the strongest in the east,the second in the west,the third in the middle,and the lowest in the northeast.The agglomeration degree of innovative capital and innovative technology are the strong in the eastern region,the second in central region,the third in western region and the lowest in northeast region.The eastern region is the strongest agglomeration region of various innovation factors in China,and the trend of the accumulation of innovative capitals to the eastern region is increasing.The agglomeration intensity of various innovation factors in the central region is continuously improving.The attraction of innovative talented people and innovative technologies in the western region is increasing,but the attraction of innovative capitals is declining,and the agglomeration intensity of various innovation factors in the Northeast is decreasing.Shanghai,Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Guangdong are all primary and stable agglomeration centers for innovative talented people,innovative capital and innovative technology spatial flow.The strongest agglomeration center for the innovative talented people spatial flow is Beijing,and the center of the innovative capital and innovative technology spatial flow are all Guangdong.Fourth,the spatial flow of innovation factors presents an obvious positive local spatial cluster correlation pattern and exhibits strong spatial locking.Among the local spatial correlation layout of innovative talented people,innovative capital and innovative technology spatial flow,the L-L clustering type is the most and distributed in the western region mainly.The H-L clustering type is the least and is mainly Guangdong.The H-H cluster type is located in the eastern region and Shanghai.Zhejiang and Jiangsu are the main ones.Anhui,Jiangxi and Guangxi are the most typical in the L-H cluster camp.In the correlation pattern evolution of the above-mentioned innovation factors spatial flow,the innovative technology's has the strongest spatila locking,and the innovative talented people's is second,and the innovative capital's is the least lockable.Fifth,the regional innovation performance level has a obvious gradual decreasing layout from east to middle to west,and the overall spatial differentiation trend of “east,south high,west and north low” is obvious.This spatially differentiated layout shows a significant positive local spatial cluster correlation,the H-H and L-L cluster type are the most,especially L-L cluster type.The regional innovation performance level in the east is higher than the national average and is in an elevated state.The central,western and northeast regions are lower than the national average,and the regional innovation performance in the Northeast is decreasing.Sixth,the spatial impact of different types of innovation factors on regional innovation performance has great differences.The spatial flow of innovative talented people and innovative technology can promote the improvement of regional innovation performance,while the innovative capital shows a certain degree of inhibition.The further decomposition of direct and indirect effects also shows that the flow of innovative talented people and innovative technology have a positive effect on the regional innovation performance of the province and surrounding provinces,and the innovation funds have a negative effect on the regional innovation performance of the province and surrounding provinces.The innovative talented people spatial flow has the greatest impact on regional innovation performance,followed by innovative technology,and the minimal impact is the spatial flow of innovation captial.The difference of the impact of different innovation factors spatial flow on regional innovation performance can be explained by the difference of the evolution of the different innovation factors spatial flow preference agglomeration pattern.Throughout the paper,this paper focuses on the theoretical and empirical research on the mechanism,spatial characteristics and spatial influence effects of China's innovation factors spatial flow,which has certain theoretical value and strong practical significance.Based on the research viewpoints of this paper,the corresponding suggestions are as follows:(1)Based on continuing the basic starting point “efficiency first and fairness”,differentially promoting innovation development of various regions.(2)Strengthening the construction or improvement of a number of the agglomeration centers of innovation factors spatial flow,enhancing or highlighting the status and role of its spatial agglomeration centers.(3)Paying attention to the spatial correlation of innovation factors spatial flow,coordinating the development strategy of regional innovation space,and forming a cross-regional collaborative innovation pattern;(4)Paying attention to the appropriateness of of innovation factors spatial flow,and moderately agglomerating as the main by the supplement of the effectively spread flow,enhancing the role of innovation factors spatial flow in promoting the overall improvement of regional innovation performance.
