As an important part of the cultural industry,newspaper industry once occupied the dominant position for a long time in the media market.However,the rapid rise of the Internet economy has broken the traditional industry boundaries,and caused subversive changes in communication mode,media form,industrial boundary and media structure,which gradually caused the dominance of Internet emerging media in the media industry market.As a major market player in the media industry,newspaper media enterprises have fell into the management dilemma and business crises with the rapid loss of audiences and the drastic decline of advertisements,and newspaper media enterprises industrial innovation has become the frontier issue common concerned of both theoretical and practical circles.The Internet economy has greatly promoted the development of business model theory and obtained many valuable research results.But the framework researches in business model antecedent factors and dynamic process are obviously insufficient.As an important way for modern enterprise business model innovation,a few scholars began to study business model innovation from the perspective of value network but mostly confined to the network embeddedness paradox lack of necessary attention to the internal value network,which failing to establish the integrated framework and lack of the necessary practice value because of excessive abstraction.Based on the existing results,this study focuses on newspaper media enterprises business model innovation from the perspective of value network incorporated the antecedent factors of business model innovation into the value network theory system,constructs an integrated framework between value network reconstruction,business model innovation and enterprise performance,and makes empirical tests on theoretical models through statistical analysis and case studies.The theoretical contributions and innovations of this research are mainly reflected in the following aspects:First,this research reveals the antecedent factors of business model innovation from the perspective of value network reconstruction,constructs the framework of newspaper media enterprises business model innovation,and provides a new theoretical interpretation for the "embedded paradox" and the network negative effects.At present,scholars have studied the business model innovation problem from one or more factors such as product,technology,organization and entrepreneurial traits,which exists obvious limitations in the theorization and systematization of the business model innovation antecedent factors.To this end,this study incorporates the factors affecting business model innovation into the unified framework of value network reconstruction.This study believes that internal value network reconstruction is the decisive variable affecting business model innovation.The direction of network embeddedness in business model innovation is in the process of dynamic change due to the life cycle characteristics of core products and the industry,thus provides a new interpretation of the "embedded paradox" and network negative effect.Second,this research reveals the action mechanism and internal mechanism of the relationship between value network reconstruction,business model innovation and newspaper media enterprise performance.Value network reconstruction has a positive effect on enterprise business model innovation,which can affect enterprise performance directly or through the intermediary effect of business model innovation.In the interaction mechanism between value network reconstruction,business model innovation and enterprise performance,there are both direct effects and mediating effects of business model innovation,thus uncovering the black box of the relationship between the three.Third,based on the significant differences of different innovation types on business performance and the characteristics of bilateral markets and platform economic models in the newspaper industry,puts forward the novelty innovation model of newspaper media enterprises and the innovation path of "multiple sales,multiple realization".There is a clear "efficiency boundary" for the efficiency innovation,and the novelty innovation is more significant than efficiency innovation in improving enterprise performance for newspaper media enterprises that core products are in the recession,So newspaper media enterprises need to change from the efficiency innovation to the novelty innovation.
