| With the proposal of "One Belt And One Road" and the orientation of the 19 th national congress on implementing the strategy of regional coordinated development,China will firmly and unwaveringly promote the development of globalization and regional integration.In China,the process of regional integration has been advancing steadily.Especially in recent years,the high-speed urbanization process has driven the rapid development of urban agglomerations,economic belts and other economic cooperation subjects.A large number of people and resources are converging to cities,and the expansion and prosperity of cities have attracted more people and resources.Among them,the provincial capital central city located at the top of the urban system has achieved greater self-development and talent resource agglomeration,which is a two-way and dynamic process.Both the expansion and development of the provincial capital central city and the talent resource agglomeration and diffusion interact with the surrounding cities and regions.In the process of urbanization and regional integration,the surrounding cities and regions are radiated and driven by the provincial capital and central city,forming a pyramidal town scale structure from the provincial capital and central city to small towns.Provincial capital central city also naturally become the "benchmark" of urban system,the collaborative development between them,on the one hand,is beneficial to enhance urban system between the top city economy,society,culture and other aspects of development,on the other hand,is conducive to a wider,more long span on regional urban coordinated development and integration process.Therefore,what is the role path and effect of "benchmark" cities like provincial capital and central city in the process of collaborative development? What are the factors that contribute to the coordinated development of regional cities and regional integration? All of them are the focus of attention and research in the implementation process of regional coordinated development strategy under the background of the new era,and also the focus of this paper.The whole paper consists of nine chapters,which can be divided into five parts.The first part covers the first chapter and the second chapter.The thesis research background,main problem,research purpose and meaning,research contents and train of thought,research methods and innovation points for centralized,far to show an important part of the paper,through literature research and relevant theories at home and abroad combing and review,put forward in this paper,the research purpose and the value in it.The second part is the third chapter.The general situation of the lingnan-beibu gulf area and the status of urban coordinated development and regional integration in this area are described in detail.This part of the research is mainly to accurately grasp the historical evolution of the research area and the development status and trend of the research object,to lay a foundation for better theoretical and empirical research.The third part covers the fourth and fifth chapters.The fourth chapter studies the provincial capital central city "synergies" benchmarking dimension,the definition and composition of provincial capital central city "synergies" benchmarking analysis framework to promote the development of provincial capital central city synergy,the provincial capital central city "synergies" benchmarking analysis framework the role of regional integration and so on three aspects,aims to clarify what is provincial capital central city "synergies" benchmarking,made up of what,how to promote the coordinated development of provincial capital central city and the provincial capital central city coordinated development play a role in the process of promoting regional integration.The fifth chapter studies lingnan-beibu gulf regional integration in the process of the role of the provincial capital central city "synergies" benchmarking path and mechanism of lingnan-the capital of beibu gulf regional integration in the process of building central city "synergies" benchmarking theory model,and based on the theory of path,mechanism and model,put forward in this paper,the research hypothesis.This part mainly proposes the overall analysis framework of the paper,and on this basis,analyzes and constructs the action path,mechanism and theoretical model of "benchmark synergy" of provincial capitals and central cities in the regional integration process of lingnan-beibu gulf,and proposes the theoretical research results,namely the research hypothesis.The fourth part covers the sixth and seventh chapters.In the third part of the research hypothesis of the theory analysis,in chapter 6 and chapter 7,construct econometric model respectively,and explain the variable selection and data sources,from two parts,the phases and the whole of the coordinated development of lingnan-the capital of the beibu gulf region center city to promote the role of regional integration path,lingnan-beibu gulf regional integration in the process of provincial capital central city "synergies" benchmarking empirical analysis and robustness testing,finally will check results of the empirical study and theoretical analysis compare the research hypothesis,test research hypothesis is correct or not.The fifth part covers the last two chapters.Chapter 8 discusses the implementation strategy of "benchmark synergy effect" of provincial capital and central city to promote regional integration of lingnan-beibu gulf from the aspects of expanding source,path and effect.Chapter nine summarizes the basic conclusions of the thesis,analyzes the shortcomings of the thesis,and puts forward the perspective and direction of further research.Through the study,the following conclusions are obtained:First,the "benchmark synergy effect" of provincial capitals and central cities can effectively promote the coordinated development of provincial capitals and central cities in lingnan-beibu gulf region.Second,the "benchmark synergy effect" of provincial capital and central city can effectively promote the coordinated development of provincial capital and central city to the overall coordinated development of lingnan-beibu gulf region with urban agglomeration and economic belt as the main body.Third,the "benchmark synergy effect" of provincial capitals and central cities can effectively promote the coordinated development of the whole regional cities with urban agglomeration and economic belt as the main body to the regional integration development of lingnan-beibu gulf.Fourth,the "benchmark synergy effect" of provincial capital and central city can play an effective role in promoting the overall process of regional integration of lingnan-beibu gulf through the coordinated development of provincial capital and central city.The innovation of this paper lies in :(1)from the perspective of research,the regional integration between the first-mover advantageous regions and the last-mover backward regions is studied.In this paper,we study the object of lingnan-the beibu gulf region including guangdong,guangxi and hainan province,which belongs to the first mover advantage areas in China,guangdong and guangxi belongs to the development of the western region "10 + 2" the backwardness of underdeveloped regions,the gap is very obvious,the lingnan-beibu gulf regional integration research for the disparity between our country adjacent areas to realize the integration of development provide a new perspective.(2)in terms of theoretical innovation,the concept of "benchmark synergy" of provincial capital and central city was proposed and analyzed in detail.The collaborative development of provincial capital and central city is the initial link and key factor to promote regional integration,and the "benchmark synergistic effect" of provincial capital and central city plays a very important role in promoting the collaborative development of provincial capital and central city and the regional integration development starting from it.The "benchmark synergy effect" of provincial capitals and central cities includes five sub-effects: "synergistic correlation effect","synergistic division of labor effect","synergistic innovation effect","synergistic environmental protection effect" and "synergistic safeguard effect".On the one hand,these five sub-effects promote the coordinated development of provincial capitals and central cities;on the other hand,they promote the coordinated development of provincial capitals and central cities and promote the process of regional integration.(2)put forward and test the provincial
