The continued study of work-family conflict, family-work conflict has established a consistent history of focusing on employees in middle management and lower paying positions. The majority of studies have predominantly been directed at female employees. The project considers the wealth of information available concerning work-family conflict. Little research has been completed though as to how work-life balance initiatives directly impact senior leaders. Eversole: Understanding differential organizational response to work/family issues: The roles of beliefs, attitudes, and decision-making styles of chief executive officers. (2005) considers the concept of how work-life balance programs are perceived by senior leaders and executives in organization. The project reviews the path of work-life conflict studies through previous decades to the present. |
