Since the Tang Dynasty,the expansion of the Tubo power has contributed to the formation of “Five Roads Center” through Qinghai in the land transportation of the hinterland of Asia,which has a profound impact on the cultural exchanges between the East and the West in the Middle Ages.Featured with a network system of interdependence and correlation,the dotted archaeological distribution of related tombs,provides precious materials for the study of ethnic integration on the Silk Road in the Tang Dynasty.Starting from the newly obtained information on Tuyuhun and Tubo tombs,this article centers on the status of the Tuyuhun royal family after the fall of the country in 663 AD,the Murong family,the ethnicity of the ancient tombs in Dulan,Tubo art under the influence of multiculturalism,the relationship between Tubo and Tubo ethnic groups,the Central Plains,Tubo,Sogdian multicultural integration and other aspects.The first chapter is mainly based on field research.Through participating in archaeological practice,we investigate the Tuyuhun Tomb Group,Wulanquangou Tomb No.1 in Wuwei Area,and Shuiwei Tomb Group 2018 Xuewei No.1 Tomb and Shuihui Gou in Dulan Area,and some important tombs in the Qaidam Basin such as the tomb group on the south bank of the Wusu River in Chahan and the tomb in the Guolimu Township of Delingha City,etc.Therefore,we sort out the important cultural relics and cultural factors unearthed from the newly discovered tombs,and analyze the Tuyuhun culture,Central Plains culture,and make a project research on the elements of Tubo culture and Sogdian culture.The second chapter focuses on the overall study of Wulanquangou Tomb No.1,through the analysis of the frescoes,the shape and decoration of the unearthed golden crown,and the multiculturalism reflected in the tomb.The third chapter is devoted to the interpretation and research of the newly discovered gold and silver artifacts from the Tomb of Xuewei No.1 and the tomb of King Achai since 2018 and its decorations,etc.,through a comparative study of the same type of cultural relics and a reasonable interpretation and demonstration.The fourth chapter analyzes the Qilian tombs discovered in Chashan Village,Qilian Town,Tianzhu in 2019 and the Tuyuhun royal tombs in Wuwei,and explores the Tuyuhun royal tombs in the Tang Dynasty through the analysis of the location of the tombs,the structure of the tombs and cultural attributes so as to better embody its multicultural connotation behind.In addition,treating the ethnic attributes of Tuyuhun as the carrier,we have probed into the newly discovered Tubo and Tuyuhun tombs near Qilian Mountain,the cultural characteristics embodied by the Tuyuhun ethnic group under the rule of different regimes that returned to the Tang Dynasty and returned to Tubo separately after the country was destroyed.As such,the exchange and integration of multiculturalism along the Silk Road is fully analyzed,and the process of multi-ethnic integration under the influence of the Silk Road civilization can be reproduced.The fifth chapter is concerned with the exhibitions shown in “Cultural Exchanges on the Silk Road —— Tubo Art Treasures Exhibition” and trio in “Ch'gayana Envoy”in “Samarkand Ambassador Hall Murals” and a brocade robe of Lu Dongzan Envoy with a typical Sassanid Persian style in “Bu Nian Tu” for research.From this,we can see the smooth development of the Silk Road and the exchange and integration of Chinese and Western cultures,reflecting the influence of the Plateau Silk Road on the multiculturalism of Tubo.forming impact.
