The Communist Party of China(CPC)is a Marxist Party.As the Party's highest institution to train leading cadres,The Party School of the Central Committee of CPC(CCPS)needs to carry out Marxist theory education.This paper takes the CCPS,which was founded in Ruijin period,as the research object by systematic method,combining with the growth of the CPC and the arduous exploration of the road of Chinese revolutionary.The paper analyzes the tradition of Marxist theory education in the CCPS,which systematically summarizes the connotation and characteristics from1933 to 1947 from the five dimensions: theoretical study,theoretical research,theoretical teaching,theoretical propaganda and theoretical practice.The tradition of Marxist theory education in the CCPS has gone through three stages from gestation,formation to richness.At the beginning of its founding,the CPC repeatedly called for the establishment of Party schools to train and educate talents,and emphasized the importance of the propaganda and education of Marxist theory.At that time,the situation and tasks of the Chinese revolution needed to be consolidated and expanded the ranks.After the establishment of the local Party schools,the Marx Communist School(the predecessor of the CCPS)was also established in 1933.From the founding of the CPC to the founding of the CCPS,it was the gestation period of the tradition of Marxist theory education.The Party Central Committee has thought that it was necessary to set up Party schools to complete the task of Marxist theory education.After the founding of the CCPS in Ruijin,the location of the CCPS has changed many times,because of the revolutionary situation.After the long march strategic shift,the CCPS settled in northern Shaanxi,and adhered to the Marxist theory education under the difficult conditions.This period became the formation period of the tradition of Marxist theory education of the CCPS.The scale of the CCPS has been further expanded,the number of educated students has further increased,and the educational results have been further highlighted.Its curriculum settings,learning requirements and the forms of education were valuably explored.The central leaders directly participated in the process of Marxist theory education,and the characteristics of Marxist theory education has becoming more distinctive.The CCPS has become the position for Party member cadres to receive Marxist theory education,a large number of cadres trained and sent became an important force in the War of Resistance against Japan.However,in this period,there was also a situation of deviating from reality in Marxist theory education.After Mao Zedong began to lead the reorganization of the CCPS in1941,it became the mature period of the Marxist theory education tradition of the CCPS.In this period,due to the prominent problems of inner-party dogmatism and subjectivism,the Marxist theory education in the CCPS also had the tendency of dogmatism.Mao Zedong adhered to the thought of seeking truth from facts and led the reorganization of the CCPS three times,to solve the problem of deviating theory from practice.The CCPS became the birthplace,base camp and experimental field of the rectification movement.The better integration of Marxist theory education and practice has effectively promoted the high-degree unity of the Party in politics,thought and organization.In addition,the production movement in this period laid a material foundation for Marxist theory education,and the development of literary and artistic work strongly cooperated with the theme of theory education.The tradition of Marxist theory education in the CCPS has gradually formed in the historical development and educational practice,and finally formed the rich connotation and distinct characteristics from five dimensions.As the prerequisite job in the theory education of Marxism in the CCPS,a solid grasp of theory study closely included the classic works of Marxism,the latest theoretical achievements of Marxism,and the Marxist standpoint,viewpoint and method,to carry out and clarify the content of theory study.In the Marxist theory education of the CCPS,it also emphasizes further theory research.With the reorganization of the CCPS and Mao Zedong's appeal for the integration of theory and practice,the teachers have gradually mastered the scientific attitude towards Marxism.The level of theory research and the ability of understanding Marxism have been improved.It also further implemented the character of combining theory with practice,and made useful and effective theory preparations for the development of Marxist theory education.Theoretical teaching was the central work of the tradition of Marxist theory education in the CCPS.After summing up and exploring,the principles,objects,modes,contents,methods and strategies of theoretical teaching have been gradually fixed.The production practice and emphasis on propaganda in the education of Marxist theory was the highlights.The production movement satisfied the material need,provided the material guarantee for the theory education.Media such as newspapers and radio stations have become an important channel to supplement theory education materials,and various literary and artistic activities have become a beneficial supplement to theory education by focusing on educational themes.With the help of Marxist theory education,the CCPS has trained a large number of firm Marxists,and they strongly supported the Party's cause,implemented the Party's ideological line,and became an important force in the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the War of Liberation,which showed that the practice was the aim of the tradition of Marxist theory education.The tradition of Marxist theory education in the CCPS has a profound impact on the cause of the Party and the later development of the CCPS.The CCPS has become the highest institution of the Party to train leading cadres.The training and education of leading cadres were more standardized,and Marxist theory education has become a distinctive characteristic and unique advantage of running the school.The value of the tradition of Marxist theory education in the CCPS is increasingly prominent,the study method is clearly defined,the ideological guidance is adhered to,and the cadre construction is highlighted in the Marxist theory education.Under the new situation and requirements,the CCPS should inherit and carry forward the tradition of Marxist theory education,persist in that the CCPS need to adhere to CPC 's surname,and believe in Marxism and speak for it,persist in carrying out Marxist theory education according to the Party's central work,persist in the fundamental method of combining theory with practice,persist in keeping up with the times,so Marxism theory education in the new era could continue to radiate vitality.
