It has been spread and developed by experts and scholars in the world since the theory of cultural capital was put forward.People gradually know the effects of cultural capital for the action capability in group or individual.It is no doubt that using the theory of cultural capital to do the research for college Physical Education(PE)teachers has significant meaning in optimizing of PE teachers groups,improving the individual professional development of PE teachers,improving the quality of physical education,sports and cultural qualities for college students,and achieving the target of talent cultivation healthy personality in the colleges and universities under the requirements of new surroundings.This article used the cultural capital theory from Bourdieu as the theoretical basis of the research.By using interviewing and investigation methods to research the formation and development mechanism of college PE teachers,real stock,benefits of cultural capital and the factors of effecting the culture capital enhancement of college PE teachers.Then the data was analyzed by statistical and mathematical methods.We have got the following conclusions:1.The PE teachers' cultural capital in Colleges and universities is a kind of role capital,a kind of low value-added survival capital,and a kind of dynamic cultural capital which is formed in the course of practice of PE Teachers in Colleges and universities.The PE teachers' cultural capital includes physical,objective and systematic cultural capital.2.The PE teachers' cultural capital in Colleges and universities is not isolated.It can bring potential career development benefits for PE teachers in colleges and universities,such as economic benefit,power benefit and so on.But the positon of the PE teachers in Colleges and universities determine the low efficiency of cultural capital.3.The formation and development of the cultural capital of PE teachers in Colleges and universities is restricted by the personal conditions and social conditions.The PE teachers in college and universities accumulate the cultural capital through school education,family influence and work practice.Overall,the formation of the cultural capital of the PE teachers in college and universities is less affected by family,mainly through school education and physical education practice.And the PE teachers in Colleges and universities with independent selectivity accumulate the cultural capital.4.The PE teachers in Colleges and universities on the overall situation,the real stock of cultural capital is low,and the physical cultural capital is higher than the objective cultural capital and systematic cultural capital.5.As the demographic variables,there were significant differences in college PE teachers' cultural capital scales.The differences between the male and female college PE teachers' cultural capital were significant,males are higher than females.However,males' and females' cultural capabilities were in the same level.Males produce more than females.It fits state the basic presentation normal in the age variables,which means teachers who have higher job title,longer teaching ages,better educational background can get more cultural capital stock.In the regional variables,most areas did not show significant differences,only in the amount of institutional cultural capital,the northwest region and other regions showed significant differences,and the cultural capital possession is relatively low.6.As for affecting factors,the factors affect the improving of college PE teachers' cultural capital including objective environment,knowledge base,learning ability,driving force,guarantee and family.Different demographic variable have different influence level for each factor.However,the objective environment,knowledge base,learning ability,and driving force in general are greater effect factors.7.College PE teachers need the improved level strategy in different gender,education background,and job title.Designing the enhance of the targeted path meets the demands of college PE teachers' own values.
