Death education originated from the western death studies in the early 20th century,and was first started in the United States.In the 1960s and 1970s,American universities,middle schools and primary schools set up death education courses one after another.Britain,France,Germany,the Netherlands,Japan,South Korea,Australia and other developed countries have carried out different forms of death education.China's death education originated in Chinese Taiwan and Chinese Hong Kong taking the lead in introduction,and at the very beginning,it started slowly under the practice of life education.Influenced by the traditional death culture of rebirth and death,the value and significance of death are naturally dissolved,and the power and function of death on individual development and life growth are not paid attention to,resulting in the vigorous development of life education,while death education is basically in a state of blank and absence.Contemporary college students growing up under the influence of modern social background and traditional death culture,having the knowledge structure and total imbalance of life and death,death does not give full play to the power and function of theirs individual development and life growth.Due to the lack of death education for college students,as a result,the sense of urgency and motivation for college students to create a rich life and fully develop their life disappeared,and they presented a sense of rootlessness and floating of life in general,thus led to college students' life confusion,spiritual emptiness,meaning nihility,lack of value,disregard for life,suicide,homicide and other phenomena and problems occurred.This research takes death education of college students as the research object,and strives to distinguish the three concepts of death education,life education and life and death education,analyzes the connotation and extension of death education.This research thought of death education is different from the life education.Death education,which based on Science of life and death,is the process of learning,experience and thinking about death knowledge,exploring the fundamental problem in life,trying to wake up the individual death consciousness,changing attitude towards death,accelerating the development of individual life,seeking the way of living,realizing the meaning of life and the life value,in order to transcend death and achieve the first purpose of life and death together,second peacefully,and third comfortable.Death education is a kind of education for all,lifelong education and state education,which has the characteristics of transcendence,process and negative.Therefore,we must adhere to the implementation principles of positivity,constructivism and criticalness,take positive psychology as the guiding ideology,give full play to and dig out the positive role and dynamic function of death on individual development and life growth.This research,which use questionnaire survey,interview survey,action research and other research methods,based on Taylor's curriculum development theory and Bloom's educational goal classification theory,is studying the death education of college students.According to the research,compared with children's death education,college students' death education is more practical,targeted and urgent.Moreover,college students have a strong demand for death education.On the one hand,college students have a solid internal demand for self-consciousness,behavioral motivation and individual development.On the other hand,college students have strong external demand in death knowledge,death attitude and death education.Compared with the death education in middle age,the purpose of death education in college students emphasizes the construction of the meaning of individual life.Under the premise of changing college students' attitude towards death,college students' death education tries to arouse college students' awareness of death,construct the meaning of individual life,and promote college students' life growth,so as to realize their life value and improve their life quality.Compared with the death education for the elderly,the death education for college students is more comprehensive,systematic and hierarchical.The content of death education for college students can be selected and organized according to the three levels of cognition,emotion and skill in Bloom's classification of educational goals.This paper clarifies the key issues of death education for college students from the perspectives of philosophy,psychology and sociology,makes the theoretical research on the needs,objectives,contents,implementation approaches and methods of death education for college students,based on experience of death education for college students at Home and Abroad,and requirements for achieving death education targets in a comprehensive and systematic way,this study considers that colleges and universities are the most important and appropriate way for college students to receive death education,according to the analysis of three kinds of curriculum practice forms of infiltration integration,activity organization and independent setting curriculum of death education for College Students,pointed out that it is the best way to carry out death education for college students to set general death education courses in colleges and universities.The implementation of death education for college students requires more teachers to devote themselves to the study of life and death and the study of life and death education,when conditions are ripe,death education courses can be offered in colleges and universities.Selecting the death education of college students into the ideological and political curriculum and organizing visits to the funeral home activities as a typical case,According to the theoretical research on the needs,objectives,contents,implementation approaches and methods of death education for college students above,and combined with the empirical investigation results of college students' death education,we design the implementation plan of death education curriculum for college students,and form curriculum system of death education.setting up Death Education Course in K University,exploring the death education of college students in China,discovering the practice of death education in college students,having that problems which the comprehensive quality of teachers is more difficult to meet the requirements of implementing death education,insufficient curriculum support and management constitute obstacles to death education for College Students,Teaching methods can not meet the needs of death education implementation,the inadequate excavation of death education resources affects the teaching effect of curriculum.This paper has a practical Exploration of Death Education for College Students in China,through the curriculum practice of the death education infiltrates the curriculum,the activity curriculum and the subject curriculum,in view of the death education implementation process appears the question,points out that the faculty is of great importance to the establishment of death education courses for college students,puts forward relevant countermeasures and improvement strategies for the death education of college students in China,it is that exploring the Cultivation Mode of College Students' Death Education Teachers in internal training and external training,striving for support and strengthen the management of death education curriculum for college students,innovativing forms and promoting the diversification of college students' death education,Strengthening construction and improving the development of death education resources for college students,strengthening the propaganda and promotion of College Students' death education from point to area.
