Family education is the education provided by parents and guardians for their children,while parental education is aimed at improving the comprehensive competence of parents and expectant parents to implement family education.Family education and parental education are inseparable,parental education is the prerequisite and foundation of family education.In January 2022,the Family Education Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China was officially implemented,which elevated family education from a traditional "private affairs" to a "state affairs".Parents and guardians provide quality family education for their minor children,and parents voluntarily accept quality parental education,which has become a legal matter guaranteed by the government and supported by the resources of the whole society.Compared with school education,the development of family education and parental education in China is relatively lagging behind,which not only lacks mature theories in the field of cognition,but also has many problems in the field of practice.Family education and parental education not only do not match the development of the whole social system,but also have the problem of unbalanced development,which seriously affects the comprehensive reform and quality improvement of national education in the new period.For the above reasons,this study mainly focuses on the cutting-edge and urgent issues in the field of parental education in China: how to systematically and structurally analyze and improve parental education in China after family education and parental education have been incorporated into the top-level design and macro system of national and social governance.This study attaches importance to the combination of theoretical research and empirical research,based on literature research and case analysis,with the theory of ecology of education to extends and constructs the analytical framework of parental education,and carries out the corresponding empirical research.This study explores the development status of primary school students' parenting education in T City,the manifestation of ecological imbalance,root causes and optimization strategies and other practical issues through questionnaire,interview and case analysis.The paper consists of seven parts:In the introduction part,it mainly expounds the reasons for selecting the topic,the purpose and significance of this study,literature review,the definition of relevant concepts,the innovation of this study,and presents the research design and research ideas of this study.The first chapter is ‘The Theoretical Construction of Parental Education Ecosystem'.This part systematically reviews and analyzes the conceptual system,theoretical system and analytical framework of ecology and education ecology.On the basis of the epochal and localized transformation of Bronfenbrenner's educational ecosystem theory,a parental education ecosystem model based on parent-child symbiosis is formed.The system is composed of ‘parent-child symbiont' located at the core and four nested systems layer by layer.This is an innovative presentation of the parental education system in China,and also a theoretical framework to analyze the practical problems of parental education in China.The second chapter is ‘The Present Situation of Parental Education in China'.Firstly,it systematically combs the practical experience and achievements of parenting education in China.Then taking primary schools in T city as the main research object,this paper analyzes the present situation of parental education for primary school students.Specifically,it includes the reality of the parenting education ecology in schools,the parental education ecology in communities and social guidance institutions,the cognition of teachers and students to the parental education,and the ecological role of each supporting subject.The third chapter is ‘The Maladjustment of Primary School Students Parental Education Ecosystem'.Through the field investigation of primary schools in T city,this study found that there were four problems in parenting education in China: the maladjustment of concept,legal system and educational development in the value system;the maladjustment between resources and educational demand in the operating system;the maladjustment between school and family collaboration in the support system;the maladjustment of human interaction in dynamical systems.Chapter four is 'The Comprehensive Causes of Imbalance of Primary School Students Parental Education Ecosystem.The maladjustment of parental education ecosystem were mainly caused by the following reasons: in the dimension of value norms,social changes have caused widespread educational anxiety and serious educational concept conflicts;in the dimension of operation system,the present parent education practice system is in disorder,high-quality resources are lacking,and the overall quality can not meet the demand;in the dimension of support system,the relationship between family and school is unbalanced,parental education and family are subject to school education;in the dimension the dynamic system,educational anxiety and role division in the family affect the effect of parenting education and family.Chapter five is about ‘The Optimization of Parental Education Ecosystem'.This paper introduces the theoretical origin,practical model,successful experience,social institutions and academic institutions of parenting education in Britain and the United States,Western Europe,Japan and South Korea,and tries to provide reference for the research of parenting education in China.Chapter six is ‘Parental Education Ecosystem Optimization Strategy'.This paper puts forward specific optimization suggestions from the following aspects: adjusting the social value and regulating ecology,perfecting the operational system of parental education,dispelling the tension between parents and schools,promoting the benign operation of supporting system,and optimizing the core elements in the driving system of parenting.To sum up,by constructing the theoretical model and analytical framework of"parent-child symbiosis" as the core of the "parent-child education ecosystem",this paper finds the problem of the maladjustment of primary school students on parent-child education ecosystem,and discusses systematic optimization and governance.In the background that the Family Education Promotion Law of the People's Republic" has just been promulgated,this study is of notable theoretical and practical value.
