Research On The Inter-party Relations Between The Communist Party Of China And The Western European Communist Partie

Both the CPC and the Communist Party of Western Europe are important members of the socialist movement and solid promoters of the international communist movement.As the significant representative of the development of communism in capitalist countries,the Communist Party of Western Europe has gone through the embryonic stage and two waves of development.Although the Communist Party of Western Europe has faced many difficulties since the end of the 20 th century,the Communist Party of Western Europe has played a positive role in promoting the international communist movement and the cause of socialism over the past century.The party relation between the CPC and the Communist Party of Western Europe not only affects the development of their respective parties,but also promotes the development of the international communist movement.The CPC and the Communist Parties of Western Europe were basically established in the same period.Since joined the Communist International(the Third International),the practical CPC has interacted with the Communist Party of Western Europe more frequently,but the Party Relation between the two sides are mainly affected by the Communist International.After the founding of P.R.C.,as the ruling party,the CPC began to communicated with the Communist Party of Western Europe directly and formally,and established institutionalized communication to some extent.The Party Relation between the CPC and the Communist Party of Western Europe is influenced by the diplomatic principles such as "one-sided","starting afresh",and "the Five Principles of Peaceful Co-existence".The Modes of their communications includes courtesy exchanges,non-voting exchanges,gesture exchanges,topic exchanges and transactional exchanges.However,during the "Cultural Revolution",the Party Relation between the CPC and the Communist Party of Western Europe showed obvious polarization characteristics,that is,on the one hand,the Party Relations with the traditional "old party" entered a frozen period due to ideological differences,and on the other hand,they maintained close exchanges with the "new party" of the extreme left wing of the Communist Party of Western Europe,which held a pro-China stance and split from the "old party".New changes have taken place in both domestic and international situations in the1970 s and 1980 s.Both the CPC and the Communist Party of Western Europe were facing new opportunities and challenges.The Communist Party of Western Europe put forward the development idea of "European communism",attempting to explore a new strategy suitable for the actual situation of the Communist Party of Western Europe within the framework of parliamentary politics.While the CPC put forward "Four basic principles of inter-party relations",namely independence,complete equality,mutual respect and non-interference in internal affairs.On this basis,the CPC and the Communist Party of Western Europe have gradually transcended the ideological barriers,abandoned the past grudges,and comprehensively normalized the inter party relations.Since socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era,China has formed a new diplomatic pattern led by the concept of "a human community with a shared future".In terms of communication between the CPC and the Communist Parties of Western Europe,the two sides have carried out close exchanges by participating in and hosting important conferences,international seminars,forums and other forms of world Marxist political parties,and put forward some new topics in the practice of inter party exchanges.In terms of the theory of party exchanges,the concept of "a human community with a shared future" has become a new paradigm for the CPC to develop party relations,leading the party relations between the CPC and Western European Communist Parties to a new height.From a theoretical perspective,the centennial history of party communication between the CPC and the Communist Party of Western Europe shows that,like relations between countries,only by transcending ideological constraints and establishing a "new type of party relationship" with the connotation of seeking common ground while reserving differences,mutual respect,and mutual learning and mutual learning can we achieve stability and become an important constructive force in building a community with a shared future for mankind.
