From the evaluation point of view,"Childcare for Every Young Child" means that every young child in the childcare institution can obtain fair and high-quality services.Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the development goal of "Childcare for Every Young Child",the quality of care and education in childcare institutions requires professional workers to provide appropriate care services for each young child to promote the individualized development of young children.This requires quality evaluation tools suitable for "individualization" in the quality evaluation of childcare,and the relevant evidence of early childhood development must be obtained.Previous studies on childcare quality have focused on the level of class quality,and there is a low correlation between class quality and early childhood development and a small effect size.There is an urgent need to make innovations in the tools for measuring childcare quality.Therefore,this study is based on the quality of young children at the individual level,and explores the relationship between the individualized childcare quality of young children in childcare and their social development.The study 1 is the compilation of individualized childcare quality tools for childcare institutions.The definition and operation of quality in CITERS-3 were followed,and the state of young children’s daily life was captured from the perspective of dynamic system theory and micro-genetics,various interactions of young children are used throughout the preparation of the scale.55 theoretical experts and practical experts were invited to evaluate the expert validity of the scale,and the reliability of the scale was examined with76 young children in 4 classes of 2 nursery institutions in City H as the research objects.The process validity of the scale is gradually established.The research results show that the individualized childcare quality scale contains 22 items in six sub-dimensions of space and facilities,personal daily care,language and books,activities,interaction and curriculum structure.The scale has high expert validity,and its test-retest reliability and internal consistency meet the measurement requirements.The study 2 is the establishment of a social development scale for children aged 2-6years.Through sorting out the existing social scales,field observation,and discussions with experts,kindergarten teachers and parents,the social development scale of 2-6-yearold children was initially constructed as a scale text with 58 items including three dimensions of social competence,emotional competence and self-regulation.Then,the teacher evaluations of 830 children in 7 kindergartens in H city and the parental evaluations of 440 children in 5 kindergartens were selected as the research objects to verify the reliability and validity of the scale.After project analysis,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis,a second-order two-factor model with 38 items was constructed,forming two dimensions of others and oneself.The other dimension includes three sub-components of social competence,emotional expression and empathy;The self-dimension includes four sub-components: emotion regulation,adaptation,behavior regulation,and attention regulation.The scale can be used for both teacher evaluation and parent evaluation,and the reliability of the scale also meets the measurement requirements.The study 3 aims to discuss the relationship between the individualized childcare quality and childcare children’s social development in a cross-sectional study.Taking 208 young children in 12 classes of 4 childcare institutions in H city as the research objects,collecting tripartite data: In the field observation of individualized childcare quality in the class,parents report children’s temperament,family parenting style and children’s social development,teachers report children’s social development.The research results show that there is a relationship between the age,gender,family socioeconomic status,and temperament of young children in childcare and their social development.After controlling for the above variables,the individualized childcare quality of young children can significantly and positively predict the social development of young children,which is reflected in the positive prediction of young children’s interaction with others,emotional expression,empathy,social competence,behavior regulation,and attention regulation.The relationship between the individualized childcare quality sub-dimension and social development was further discussed,and it was found that compared with other subdimensions,curriculum structure has more correlation with young children’s social development,and language and books have stronger explanatory power on young children’s social development.The study 4 aims to discuss the relationship between the individualized childcare quality and childcare children’s social development in longitudinal studies.Taking 70 young children in 4 classes of 2 childcare institutions in H city as the research objects,the individualized childcare quality and social development of young children were measured at the end of the first semester(T1)and the end of the next semester(T2)respectively.The individualized childcare quality of young children fluctuated during the two periods,while their social development increased significantly.Taking the young children’s age and family socioeconomic status as control variables,T1 individualized childcare quality can marginally predict young children’s T2 social development,which can significantly predict T2 interaction with others,T2 emotional expression and T2 empathy,and marginally significantly predict T2 social competence;Young children’s T1 emotional expression,T1 emotional regulation,and T1 adaptability can significantly predict T2 individualized childcare quality;Among them,.there is a bidirectional predictive relationship between the emotional expression of young children at T1 and T2 time points and individualized childcare quality.The longitudinal relationship between the individualized childcare quality sub-dimension and its social development was further discussed,and it was found that compared with other sub-dimensions,language and books were more significant predictors of the longitudinal relationship of young children’s social development.To sum up,it is found that the individualized childcare quality of childcare children has a predictive effect on their social development,and there is a two-way predictive relationship between the two in the longitudinal tracking,which is the result of the complex interaction among young children,teachers and the environment in the childcare class.It further discusses the implication and connotation of the childcare environment in the individual sense,the evaluation scale of concern for the social development of young children and the embodiment of the professionalism of teachers,and microscopically examines the social development of young children’s individualized childcare quality education from the dimensions of activities,roles and relationships.Finally,the research and reflection on the childcare education norms from the perspective of individualization,the evaluation of process quality in the individual sense,and the evaluation of the social development of young children in the survival of the relationship between individuals are carried out.
