Youth outdoor sports camps are an important venue for out-of-school sports activities and an important supplement to school education and family education.This study aims to build a service quality evaluation system for youth outdoor sports camps,provide a theoretical analysis framework and measurement tools for youth outdoor sports camps to carry out service quality management,use data to scientifically explain the development dilemmas such as insufficient integration of camp concept and camp products,lack of camp educational attributes,homogenization of camp service products,poor camp service quality and uneven levels,and help camps quickly and purposefully.This study provides a theoretical basis and practical guidance for maintaining the competitiveness of the camp market,accelerating the pace of standardization,standardization and systematization of youth outdoor sports camps in China,and promoting the healthy,scientific and sustainable development of the youth outdoor sports camp industry in China.This study takes the evaluation and improvement path of service quality of youth outdoor sports camps as the research object,takes system theory and materialistic dialectics as the methodological guide,combines theoretical research with empirical research,quantitative research with qualitative research,uses the knowledge of sociology,management,marketing and other disciplines,takes service quality evaluation model,service quality analysis model and service quality progress theory as the theoretical guide,and uses literature,questionnaire,case study,comparison,semi-structured interview,semi-participant observation and mathematical statistics and some other methods to search for key words such as "youth outdoor sports camps" and "service quality".The research results are as follows:(1)The study generated a youth outdoor sports camp service quality evaluation model,the YOC SERVPERF evaluation model.The comprehensive factor score of this evaluation model was calculated as F=0.177F educational+0.174F empathy+0.172F reliability+ 0.162F tangibility+0.158F responsiveness+0.158F assurance.(2)The overall evaluation characteristics of the service quality of Shanqing World Youth Outdoor Sports Camp are as follows:the comprehensive factor and the six dimensional factors have the same distribution characteristics,specifically,the reliability service has the best concentration trend,and the educational and tangible services are relatively inferior;the reliability factor has the worst stability,and the remaining five factors are more consistent with the dispersion of the comprehensive factor;the data are left-skewed distribution,and there is The data are left-skewed,and there are obvious"fat-tailed" characteristics,specifically the absolute value of the skewness coefficient of the responsiveness factor is larger than that of the comprehensive factor,and the peaks of the empathy factor,responsiveness factor and education factor are larger than that of the comprehensive factor.(3)The differential evaluation characteristics of the service quality of the youth outdoor sports camps in Shanqing World are as follows:must focus on the service supply of male campers,junior campers and elementary school campers;must focus on the reliability service supply of junior and elementary school campers;must focus on the educational service supply of senior campers;must focus on the reliability service supply of campers without previous camp experience and the guaranteed service supply of campers with previous camp experience.(4)The executive evaluation characteristics of the service quality of the Mountain Youth World Youth Outdoor Sports Camp are as follows:among the 27 questions,14 items are superior and 13 items are inferior.(5)The service quality gaps of Mountain Youth World Youth Outdoor Sports Camps are characterized by:the comprehension gap between campers’ expectations and camp managers’ perceptions;the design gap between camp managers’ perceptions and camp service standards;the implementation gap between camp service standards and camp service delivery;the communication gap between camp service delivery and external communication;the service expectation of campers and camp service perception experiential gaps;contact gaps between camper expectations and staff perceptions;and transfer gaps between camp staff perceptions and manager awareness.Based on these results,the study developed a number of innovative research findings:(1)An evaluation system for the service quality of youth outdoor sports camps was constructed,which consists of 1 primary indicator,6 secondary indicators and 27 tertiary indicators;(2)Educational service is the core issue of youth outdoor sports camp services;(3)Four path models are proposed to improve the service quality of youth outdoor sports camps,including the"double-layer and double-regulation" path to improve the service quality management of youth outdoor sports camps,the"two-gender and one-conversion" path to improve the service quality standardization of youth outdoor sports camps,and the "two-gender and one-conversion" path to improve the service quality of youth outdoor sports camps.The model includes the"double-layer and double-regulation" service quality management improvement path for youth outdoor sports camps,the "gender and conversion" service quality standardization improvement path for youth outdoor sports camps,the "model-driven"service quality structured improvement path for youth outdoor sports camps,and the"data-driven" service quality measurement improvement path for youth outdoor sports camps.
