provides valuable experience for the construction of first-class private universities in my country.On the basis of clarifying the development background of the private Buckingham University in the United Kingdom,this research uses the method of historical research,literature research,case study and interview to analyze the educational philosophy,talent training goals,teaching content and curriculum of Buckingham University for more than 40 years,student learning and teacher teaching,teaching management and institutional guarantee,etc.And analyze and summarize the development characteristics,influence and experience of Buckingham University.In the start-up stage of university of Buckingham(1973-1982),with the concept of independence and individuality,the university advocated independent school-running autonomy,individualized education concept and independent university pioneering spirit,and offered liberal arts basic courses and individualized courses.Professional courses,implementing students’ free learning and personalized group tutoring by teachers.In addition,the University has also established a management body of the Council and the Academic Advisory Committee,actively implemented the "Part-time work-study student" program and implemented a 2-year undergraduate,4-semester management system.During the expansion stage of Buckingham
