Research On The Effect Of Resource Endowment On Entrepreneurial Performance Of Technological Entrepreneurial Enterprises

The advancement of science and technology has changed people’s lives and is becoming the innovation development mainstream in today’s society.With the rapid development of entrepreneurship and innovation in China,technological entrepreneurial enterprises have closely integrated technology and entrepreneurship,and are playing an increasingly important role in promoting high-quality social development and enhancing innovation.How to improve the entrepreneurial performance of technological entrepreneurial enterprises has become the focus of current research in this field.In order to overcome the inherent “weakness” that exists in all start-ups,technological entrepreneurial enterprises need to use some corresponding capabilities and measures to alleviate the pressure caused by lack of resources.At present,few studies have explored the serial mediating effect between resource endowment and entrepreneurial performance of technological entrepreneurial enterprises,and there is a lack of exploration of the correlation and impact among different dimensions.Therefore,combined with the characteristics of technological entrepreneurial enterprises,this paper analyzes the serial mediating effect role played by entrepreneurial ambidextrous capabilities and entrepreneurial bricolage between entrepreneurial resource endowment and entrepreneurial performance.Considering the characteristics of technological entrepreneurial enterprises,this paper divides entrepreneurial resource endowments into human resource endowment,social resource endowment and technical resource endowment.It also discusses the influence of the three dimensions on entrepreneurial performance through the serial mediating effect of ambidextrous capability and entrepreneurial bricolage.In order to reasonably and scientifically explore the relationship between the resource endowments and entrepreneurial performance of technological entrepreneurial enterprises,this paper selects three technological entrepreneurial enterprises for semi-structured interviews.The corpus was obtained through multi-faceted interviews with entrepreneurs,managers and employees,and the corpus processing and coding analysis were carried out using Grounded Theory.Based on this,the theoretical framework of this study is constructed,and research hypotheses are put forward according to different dimensions.After pre-testing and questionnaire revision,the final questionnaire was obtained,and the questionnaire was distributed to the technological entrepreneurial enterprises that have been put into storage or registered in Jiangsu Province.A total of 485 valid samples were recovered.This paper conducts an empirical analysis of the collected data to verify the proposed research hypotheses.Firstly,this paper constructs a conceptual model for the resource endowment and entrepreneurial performance of technology-based entrepreneurial enterprises at the theoretical level,and conducts research on the chain mediation effect that affects its positive correlation.Through semi-structured interviews,the basic framework of the relationship among entrepreneurial resource endowment,ambidextrous capabilities,entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial performance is constructed,and the serial mediating effect role of ambidextrous capabilities and entrepreneurial bricolage in it is verified through empirical tests.The results show that exploration capability and entrepreneurial bricolage cannot play the role of serial mediator between human resource endowments and entrepreneurial performance,but there is a serial relationship between social resource endowment and entrepreneurial performance.Exploitation capability and entrepreneurial bricolage cannot play a serial mediating role between technical resource endowment and entrepreneurial performance,but there is a serial relationship between human resource endowment and entrepreneurial performance.Secondly,this paper discusses variables in different dimensions,showing the intricate relationship between different resource endowment dimensions,exploration capability,exploitation capability,entrepreneurial bricolage,financial performance and growth performance.By testing the direct effects by differentiating dimensions,it is found that each dimension of resource endowments of technological entrepreneurial enterprises has a positive impact on financial performance and growth performance,but the impact on exploration capability is not the same;the impact of ambidextrous capabilities on entrepreneurial performance in each dimension are different;entrepreneurial bricolage also does not have a positive effect on financial performance.From the mediating effect,exploration capability,exploitation capability and entrepreneurial bricolage also have different effects on financial performance and growth performance respectively.Thirdly,this paper examines the differences in the regulatory effects of environmental dynamics.Through testing,it is found that environmental dynamics play a positive moderating role between exploration capability and the two dimensions of entrepreneurial performance,but it has a negative moderating effect between exploitation capability and the two dimensions of entrepreneurial performance.Meanwhile,environmental dynamics cannot play a positive moderating role in the relationship between entrepreneurial bricolage and financial performance.Therefore,the moderating role of environmental dynamics in the development of technological entrepreneurial enterprises should be judged based on the ability of the enterprise and the actual behavior of the enterprise.The test of the moderating effect of environmental dynamics can help technological entrepreneurial enterprises to better choose the ability or behavior that is conducive to improving entrepreneurial performance in a dynamic environment.In this paper,the research object is precisely the technological entrepreneurial enterprises registered in the database,and the research results fully combine the characteristics of the technological entrepreneurial enterprises.Semi-structured interviews,dimension construction,scale setting,hypothesis formulation,etc.,incorporate the characteristics of the “technological core” of technological entrepreneurial enterprises,enriching empirical research on technological entrepreneurial enterprises theoretically and practically.Providing reference suggestions for technological entrepreneurial enterprises get out of the resource dilemma,and help technological entrepreneurial enterprises to improve entrepreneurial performance from multiple dimensions.
