This paper is a special topic, in this subject a non-contact method and measuring system is presented for the simultaneous measurement of the run out errors at three positions of an automobile flywheel an gearing assembly. The special subject is a stress science and technology project of a nation. It about ?00 thousands car manufacture technology and it key craft equipmentdevelop and study task?In this paper, at first, we analyzed a non-contract method and measuring system of an automobile flywheel and gear-ring assembly. Besides this, designing laser scanning probe and it optic system~ fine mechanics systcm~control system and gathering and disposing system of data. And we had set up a complete measurement installation successfully. With this device we can measure three positions of an automobile flywheel and gear-ring assembly. It precision is laser probe I ~O.04mm;laser probe H ~0.01mm;laser probefll ~0.14mm. Its measurement result indicates that its measurement system natural capacity is good. Every technology target had arrived its practical requirement. This project had solved a problem about an automobile non-measuring flywheel and gear-ring for a long time in automobile factory. Simultaneously, it made a promote action for our country automobile industry measurement technology.
