Application Of CAD/CAE/CAPP Technology In Welding

This dissertation is one of the sub-problems of "Computer Dynamic Test and Calculation of Welding Heat-cycle", which is a project on natural science fund. We combine the theory of welding, such as technological standards of welding, welding techniques, and computer, applying computer technology into the area of design, analysis and research of welding techniques. Combining CAD and welding techniques, we construct a welding sign library with the second development system based on AutoCADZOOO as the platform. The designing level of welding techniques is improved, consume is reduced, R & D period is shorted, and the productivity is highly improved. Combining CAE/CAPP and welding techniques, we construct the mathematical model of 16MnR welding temperature field using theory of welding heat-conduction, then validate it by experiments. With the model, the simulation of welding process is achieved, and the needed technical parameters of the tissue of welding line are obtained, further more, we can predict the tissue of welding line by the existing welding heat-cycle technical parameters. This accomplishment can promote the confirmation of welding technique from experimental qualitative seeking to data quantitative analysis and represent a new method of welding technique .It greatly improve the quality of welding, improve the validity of welding technical cards. The application of CAD/CAE/CAPP technology make computers replace human to do the fussy works such as calculating, inquiring, editing, the productivity is highly improved.
