Along with the technique advance of the cement craft, the importance of the automatic supervisory increasingly present. And continual developments of automatic supervisory technique and equipment provide for the expansion and perfection of the new craft application in cement plant with good conditions. Automatic supervisory offers guarantee in increasing the product quantity, equipments operation rate and labor productivity, lowering the consumption of energy and labor intensity, and realizing scientific management etc., and that make the synthetic economic index of the business in technique attain best.Currently, the main production link of cement plant in China although have adopted micro-computer to supervise and control the equipment, and the technique level of supervisory has made increasing progress, there still exits a problem like this: These supervisory and control system generally operate alone and scatter in the place where the equipments lie in. and keep watch on with no concentration. Because of these, the production manager unable to duly and completely understand the production state in each production link, and is hard to be accurately in command of production on time.The hardware of the distributed control system (DCS), which is basically purchased from abroad by the big and medium-sized cement plant in our country, is very expensive; the domestic small cement plant is hard to accept the high price. This paper's aim is to develop supervisory and management system, which suits for the small cement plant, by choosing the process parameters of main equipment in vertical kiln plant, and utilizing the excellent domestic developing tools-MCGS5.1 to design good human-machine interface not only basing on reasonable choice of hardware and the configuration of the system, and also taking consideration of the cement production line process, machine and the request of the supervisory. This system is a powerful tool for the small cement plant to improve the level ofproduction management, lower the labor intensity of the production manager and optimize the operation .At the same time, it can reduce the member of the cement plant and increase the profit, improve the operation rate of the equipment, lower the consumption of energy and the cost and improve the automatic level of the plant.Supervisory and manage system of cement plant is a complicated system involving the cement process and cement equipments, computer technology, communication technology, the application of the sensor and configuration software. This paper makes a detailed introduction of the reasonable choice of main equipments, important process parameters and the hardware equipments. That gives the automatic engineers a good instruction.The development of the supervisory and manage system in cement plant have important theoretical meaning and practical value to the cement plant.
